This is for a friends baby shower. When I see the photo...I see all the imperfections with the frosting...smoothing, covering, borders...etc....and the sheep don't line up. The cradle and moon and stars are done with chocolate and the moon was brushed with luster dust. Thanks!

This was a cake I did for a friend at church. I did it pretty quick and it is not one of my better cakes, that's for sure! I do however like the overall look of the cake. The parents-to-be LOVED the little bear and wanted to save it in the freezer and give it to their daughter on her 1st b-day. I told them that I would bake her a fresh cake in a year instead. Thanks for looking!

This cake was made for my SIL's friend at work. He and his wife are expecting a little girl. They (the "friends" at work) requested a baby with his head on it for the cake decoration. This is my first attempt at photo editing. I created the picture by cropping his head off of 1 picture and using it to replace the baby's head. I hope he has a sense of humor (...and the baby looks more like her MOM!)

I did this for a friend's baby shower. I decided to use purple instead of pink (for a girl!) since pink and blue are so traditional! Obviously...if you look at my smoothing and'll see I'm an amatuer. The cradle and stars and moon are done with chocolate. Moon has been brushed with luster dust. Thanks for looking!

Two tiers all chocolate with chocolate bavarian cream filling. Decorated in Marshmallow Fondant and Buttercream. Bear is also chocolate cake and also decorated with marshmallow fondant and buttercream. Bottom Tier has a bouquet of baby items made out of candy melts in molds. I did this for my own baby shower, this weekend--a baby girl soon on the way.

This is a copy of a cake on this website. I'm sorry, I don't know the name of the person who did this, but I thought it was so precious. I had to whip this up in about 4 hours today. Yay, I'm finished!

Yet another cake with the rubber ducky design!! Original idea from Wilton. Beak, Eyes, and bow are made with fondant, bubbles are royal icing, and everything else is buttercream. Soap is made with the Wilton mini loaf pan and pink candy melts.

This is a cake I made for a very dear friend who is due any day. I wanted to make this special for her because she is so special to me. Not my best cake, but I have not made many lately...guess I am a little rusty. Anyway...thanks for looking!

I thought that I would try making a baby out of fondant, and it wasn't as tough as I thought! The rest of the cake is choc with wh choc filling and IMBC icing. I also added luster dust and glitter to the cake and blanket on top. Thanks for looking!

9x13 cake carved to look like a little girl's dress. I used a drinking glass as a guide to cut out the neckline. Then I carved the arms by hand. The diagonals were made with a ruler.

This is one Tier of a Wedding Cake I made. I thought this would make a Very Pretty Birthday Cake or cake for other occassions.
The hearts I made...using Wiltons White Chocolate Melts, and colored purple with wilton food coloring paste. then I poured it in the Heart Candy Molds I had, let them harden, popped out and trimmed....and they made wonderful decorations for my cake! I used 2 different Shades of purple to trim the cake!

I made this cake for my friend's baby shower. It was co-ed so I put both of their names on it. This cake + 12 cupcakes fed everyone with none left :)

This was a last minute contribution for a girlfriend from church. This was my first time doing a tiered cake. And my first time making MMF. (That was an adventure!) The top tier is lemon cake with raspberry cream filling. The bottom layer is butter yellow cake with chocolate fudge filling (Mom-to-Be's request) My DH did all the writing on the cake. Frosting is buttercream.

I made this one from a drawing I did when thinking of a cake for my cousins baby shower. We decorated the room with dressed up bunny stuffed animals. I enlarged my "doodle" on a photocopier and transfered it to a piece of wax paper. Then I used a toothpick to poke through the wax paper and make my outline on the cake. I cut the sheet cake, to match the shape of the bunny

This is my very first stacked cake and my first time working with MMF. It was also my first time molding - although that is my 3rd try on the baby! LOL. I did this cake for my sister in laws baby shower. I'm not happy with the lettering on the baby's name but overall it turned out alright. I used an 9" and 5" rounds and buttercream. I wish we had VIVA paper towels in Canada. Couldn't find them anywhere.

Simple gold cake with buttercream frosting. Cute, little silver carriage with a knit blanket and a baby doll inside, sorry you can't see her (I didn't get to take a picture myself unfortunatly, and this was the only one available). This was #2 attempt of this cake...#1 was disasterous but tasted good anyway!

I made this for a coworker's grandaughter's baby shower. I decided to use a purple zigzag for the edge of the carriage and I love how it turned out. The baby is made of fondant

Vanilla cake, butter cream. Stripes on sides are BC. Angel was a FBCT, and piped in the rest when I put her on. Edible glitter to give it a "heavenly sparkle".
