Made this chocolate sheet cake w/ buttercream icing for my daughters' new school. Their uncle is the principal of the new school and I thought it might be a nice "grand opening" treat for the office staff. Their mascot is the bulldog so I put this on an icing sheet. The sides are decorated w/ candy melt royal blue dog bones.

I JUST finished this cake about five minutes ago. This was my first try for a large sheet cake, and I did everything free hand with just my own creativity guiding me. The cake is iced in BC, the vines and leaves in royal, and the little boy in the pile of leaves is made of candy melts (my first attempt ever). I'm very pleased with how it turned out for my first big one.

This 1/2 sheet cake is a butter cake with chocolate buttercream icing. The decorations are all MMF. This was a fun cake to do despite the fact that the customer needed it 12 hours after he ordered it. Yikes!

By the way, this is my first attempt at loading a picture from my new fancy camera....hope it works! Thanks for looking.

This was for a co-workers 8 year old son - I was kind of tickled, he insisted on a cake with a leprachaun on it (his bday was March 3). I used gold wrapped chocolate coins for accents. The writing was not the neatest, still working on getting that down!

This is a cake I did this past weekend for a friend. The cake has gladiolas made of royal icing, then airbrushed to add depth and darker color. It also has an edible image on the cake of the person I made it for. The sides feature a triple bead border done in white and violet to match the color of the flowers.

I made this sheet cake for a co-worker who is leaving the company on her birthday. I don't like my roses or my writing, but I did use a textured paper towel to create a design, and that turned out ok- although hard to see in the pictures.
