This girl liked rainbow and shapes so that's what's on the cake. I had fun making it and she loved it. I used the Tupperware "Shap-o-toy" shapes to press in the cake to trace.

I have made so many of these cakes. Everyone that sees them, falls in love with them and orders one from me. All flowers are made from royal icing. This is really an easy cake to make and a big seller for me!

I made this cake for a Parish Manager who was retiring after 37 years of employment. He raises show horses so I made a horseshoe cake with a 1st place blue ribbon on it for him. The cake was half chocolate, half creamy vanilla; icing in buttercream flavored with butavan. Letters and blue ribbon were made from MMF.

Small wedding cake made for my friends. My first square cake too! Top tier white chocolate with homemade raspberry filling and white chocolate icing. Bottom was white cake with praline pecan filling and bc icing. Got to try some things I'd wanted to work on-embroidery type flowers and dragonfly and the square cake!

I had a few extra cookies after doing the ones for an order, so I used them to play around a little. I LOVE this cutter! :) This is NFSC with Alice's Cookie Icing. Now I just need to work on steadying my hand a little more.

12-9-6 heart shape wedding cake. All cakes covered in white rolled fondant. Black brushed embroidery vine and leaf designs on cake with mini 5 petal flowers and buds as accents. Dimensional 5 petal gum paste flowers with black brush embroidery designs attached with royal icing. Twisted pillar construction with fountain set up. This was the most different cake I have ever made and one of the most challenging because of the black on the white--no room for mistakes since the black stains the white fondant

Fun fettie cotton flavored cake with cotton flavored whip frosting used a tip#16 and animal cracker pan. He loved it!! Lots of warts but can't really tell. Fondant tongue and letters. Funky looking frog...I know but I did my best. I just told my husband I'm a girl!!!!

Bottom layer is white cake, top layer is strawberry cake. The daisies are gumpaste. The rest is buttercream. The circle cake on top is a wagon wheel which represents ninety years of life. One tenth is iced in brown to represent ten years left to living a full century (100).

Whew!! I'm done! Yea! This cake is done in ivory MMF flavored with vanilla caramel. I used fondant w/gumtex to make the roses. I coated them with silver luster dust, very lightly to give them a shimmery look. I used a heart 6 inch shaped cake pan, doubled for the top and a 10x3 inch on the bottom, made from white cake mix. I also used a diamond shaped impression mat on the round and a lined impression mat for the heart, first time to use those. This cake was definitely a learning experience for me.

This is my first time posting a cake. I made this for my daughter's birthday a few days a go. I'm pretty new to cake decorating and haven't taken any classes so I have a lot to learn. I used vanilla buttercream for the cake and MMF for the shapes and number.

I didn't have time to pipe a border along the edges so I just used marshmallows instead. The kids loved picking at it!

I wasn't happy with this cake at all. The trim is brown, but for once, it was actually too dark. It's hard to tell in this particular picture, but it's actually leaning. Never had one leaning before so I was disappointed. I also think the top tier is a little to big even at 4".

I made this cake today for a friend who is throwing a baby shower. I am so thrilled with how it turned out. Daisies are so much fun to make and are so sweet and simple on cakes, this is my first time to use daisies exclusively on a cake. I have a great tip! I used tip 233, the grass tip, to make the center of the daisy. It turned out perfectly with little raised bumps and looks much more realistic than a plain dot in the middle. I just took my moist brush and dabbed them with cake sparkles.

this modern cake is seperated with glass vase with a square pattern on it, so i decided to put a basket weave design to coordinate. the cornilla lace gives it the elegant touch so the fondant monogram stands out. notice the pearls added to the mono. and cake. bow topper made out of fondant.

I baked this cake for a friend's son's first birthday. The only detail I could get out of her was "no chocolate". The boy loves to play with his shape sorter toy, so I thought that would make a good cake. Bottom is 9X13 yellow cake with apricot filling. Top cake is 6" round with raspberry filling. Cake icing is crusting BC. "Holes" on top of sorter are edible paper colored with edible markers. (No chocolate allowed, even for that!) Cookies are NFSC with RI. I had fun making this cake.
