This one is all MM BC. I free handed the text and shamrocks, used a couple of the designer presses for the swirls on the sides. I got the blue background by cutting the center out of a large piece of wax paper and laid it on top of the cake. Used Wilton's spray blue, and then spray green on the corners of the cake. Thanks for looking!

I made these for our "Black and Gold" day at school. We were celebrating the Saints return to the Superdome and everyone dressed in black and gold. Everyone thought the fleur de lis were great, so I thought I'd share. Devils Food cupcakes, buttercream with candy sparkles, dark chocolate candy melts.

This was an unusal request for a 6 year old but they requested a cake with St. Therese - who is the "little flowers" saint. St. Therese has called this 6 year old and she is going to be a nun. So she loved this cake! It is iced in buttercream with an edible image of St. Therese.

I made this for a party the other night. German Chocolate cake with mint buttercream and MMF. I used an 9" round and 8" square pan and then carved them. This was SO EASY! And, it renewed my faith in MMF after my wedding cake disaster. It was a hit at the party - and again... EASY!!!

I have a really cool customer who is Irish who gets an order of a few dozen cookies every year on St.Patrick's Day. We do a different shape each year. This year was Leprechaun hats. I cut them out by hand, really simple!

i saw something similar to this at the midatlantic cakeshow and fell in love with it. And as I have friends whose annversary is today (st. patrick's day) who have a wonderful sense of humor, I thought "happy aniversary to Ewe!" was a good theme for them. hope you like it!

This wedding was SO themed and fun! The table were all named after counties in Ireland, there was green glitter on the tables, shamrocks everywhere, green hydrangeas as floral bouquet centrepieces, gold coins and this crazy cake right in the middle. I used a dark chocolate NFSC as the topper inscribed with the bride & groom's name, gold chocolate coins, gumpaste shamrocks on wires, gumpaste gold "buckle" on the bottom tier. The cake was a 6"/9"/12" with quadruple-layers inside. Carrot, Choc & Banana tiers.

I was in a hurry to make this cake for a party we were throwing. It was half strawberry and half lemon cake with buttercream icing and filling. I had to do an edible image because of my hurry so I feel like this cake isn't all mine! It was festive though!

The cake is covered in BC and then has miniature shamrock sprinkles on the top and sides. I made the stand up shamrocks with fondant, as well as the Leprechaun's hat. What do you think?

This cake was made for a 16 year old boy's birthday and I got to design the whole thing myself - this was the first time I have ever carved anything and I carved the football before I covered it in fondant. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for all the ideas on CC and mostly sweetpea8. This was my first cupcake cake and I think it turned out well. I did it all in BC cause I didnt have time to make fondant. Used the grass tip for the beard, mustache, eyebrows and also to make the balls on the hat look 'fluffy'. I also used pieces of oreo cookie for the black in the eye cause I hate making black icing and this seemed easier! I ended up making two of these in one night on spur of the moment decision. Hopfully the kids will like it!

This is a tribute to our Irish heritage. Celtic knotwork done on fondant. The cake itself is a mashed potato cake (another nod to Ireland) from a recipe on the Taste of Home website.
