After 7yrs and 3 kids, my DH and I finally tied the knot this past Saturday.
Here's the simple, but elegant cake that I made for our wedding.

All white cake (16, 14, 12 , 10X3) tiers with all BC. Wilton fancy fountain, silk flowers and wooden monogram letters that I spray painted.

I made sure to keep the cake as simple as possible (since of course, I had plenty to worry about) and I let the presentation be what impressed people the most.

Mother's day cake for my Mom. Her passion was embroidery and needle work and I know she would have loved this cake. The top layer is Chocolate cake with Butter Pecan filling and the bottom layer is French Vanilla with Bavarian Creme filling. Sage Green MMF covers both layers with Fondant flowers and royal icing embroidery. Thanks for looking.

This is another masterpiece by my mother. A three tiered butter-cream beauty with hundreds of handmade pale peach stephanotis flowers. Then finished off with the light sage green drop strings, fountain, and fresh florals underneath.

This cake set was a match to the wedding party: The bride and groom wore ivory. The bride had a trail of star flowers in burgandy, violet and blue covering her bodice and train. The bridesmaids wore sage green and the groomsmen had matching vests and hankies in the sage green. I kept it simple given the two hour drive in the July 28th humidity. Heart is marble w BC filling, green round is white torte w lemon filling and ivory round is vanilla layer with blueberry filling. Rounds: BC w paper towel pattern.

This is a butter cake. I never realized how difficult it would be to smooth out buttercream. I think I'm a fondant kind of girl.

The "ribbon" roses were a new challenge for me. I wanted the cake to look like it had ribbon embroidery. I was also playing with two-toned roses. The leaves are golden hosta (miniature of course). I love making these leaves. Although my fondant covering wasn't perfect (bad fondant) I still won first place in Maryland and more recently Best of Show at the state fair. Not bad for a play cake. :)

When I see this picture the only word that really comes to mind is a doily. Although that was not what I was intending when I made it! Anyway, the image was piped on using my kopykake machine. 10" white cake with cream cheese frosting.

This cake was iced in IMBC dressed with a sage green MMF drape. Each cake had a different filling, white w/pistachio mousse, white w/butter pecan mousse, choc w/raspberry and white choc mousse and the top was white w/raspberry and pistachio mousse. I like how this turned out, but this cake made me vow to myself that I will not take cake orders around a major holiday!

This is a dummy I made just for fun and like an experiment.Fondant color is very light sage and chocolate color scrolls.I wanted the scrolls like dark chocolate, but had no more wilton coloring gel.For the scrolls I used a mix of RI that I made and some piping gel from a recipe I wanted to try.It was a little thick but worked good,it makes perfect dots.Sorry about the bad piping. When you have a 4 yr old running around, everybody gets nervous :)

The top tier was vanilla cake dyed green (as a joke for the groom a year from now) & covered in chocolate buttercream w/off-white dots. The middle tier was italian cream & the bottom tier was yellow cake - both covered with off-white buttercream & chocolate dots. The base is covered in a chocolate colored satin-like fabric. The sage green colored scrolls, heart and monogram were handmade using gumpaste & floral wire.

Candy clay calla lilies, leaves and border on sage green BC. Bad idea when it's very warm. My hot hands kept melting the leaves and flowers.

Iced in blue & sage buttercream with fondant flowers. Cinnamon swirl cake with carmel filling. The photo really doesn't do the colors justice, they were much prettier in real life

I made this for my brother's wedding. The green was a little different than the picture shows--more muted, I guess. The tier sizes were 14-10-7-4 1/2
Cake flavors were chocolate fudge filled with whipped choc ganache, lemon filled with raspberry mousse, and yellow buttermilk cake with strawberry filling. Cake was iced in SMBC and covered in fondant. PIping is royal. Silver cord was wrapped around each tier. Flowers were gumpaste. Cake design inspired by www.thecakegirls.com.

Inspired by many decorators on this fabulous site!!
12" x 9" x 6" tiered round Devil's Food Chocolate with Raspberry filling cake. All decorations are fondant. First time to attempt the draping technique - Phew!! I need A LOT of practice! This didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to. Need to work on this!!!! But, the bride was happy, just the same. Thanks for looking!

OK, same wedding as the cowboy theme... the wedding colors were chocolate, sage, and burnt orange, so that is why the color choices of the pots. The MOB wanted 20 mini CC pots made for the bridal luncheon desserts, I suppose I should have taken a separate photo of them, but I was just in a mad rush and couldn't figure a could transport method for 20 of the boogers, so this is what I ended up with.... so here ya go.... 20 at once :)

Had a lot of fun with this one. A regular customer called and wanted "whatever you think would work". I believe it was a ten inch. I love the sparkles!! Used the Wilton press for the corners and royal icing flowers.
