Some No Fail Sugar Cookies and Rolled Chocolate Cookies with royal icing. I just took a quick shot of them as they were drying, waiting to be packed up for delivery to a client. *Excuse the presentation & the 1 or 2 broken cookies lol

I made this cake for a friend of mine that I work with. It's a 12 inch cake and my first attempt at something of substantial size with color flow. The daisys were a little difficult because my hands got hot working with so much royal icing. They were very pleased.

I'm pleased with this one! Buttercream with fondant/marker railroad crossing signs and royal icing train. A bunch of preschoolers are meeting at a friend's house (which happens to be next to a railroad track) to watch the train go by. :-)

It took a couple of weeks to make all of these flowers, since they had to dry in between steps. This was my first basket cake and first time to make all of these flowers! They are all made of royal icing. Most are on bases with wires. After the bases were dried and the flowers were dried, I then attached them together with more royal icing. After that was dry I handpainted them with Wilton paste colors (some are still tacky, so maybe this wasn't the best method). Basketweave is lemon buttercream.

This was my very first commission AND my very first time to work with fondant!! For the middle cake I ran into a problem trying to get the fondant to go on smoothly down the sides. I ended up gathering it in the front, hence the flowers to cover my mistake. Someone tell me how to do the fondant right, please! I painted the leaves and pansies with super luster dust. The flowers are royal icing, the leaves buttercream. The top cake was supposed to be quilted. The lines were really faint, though. Help!

These were for my son's pre-k class. The teacher was amazed and the kids loved them, especially my son who said: "Wow mom, you're cool!" I just love him.

Bunnies were made in royal icing. Jelly beans played the egg part of easter.

First time I've done cookie decorating with royal. Tried to do a run in technique, but this was the month before I started my first decorating class, and I've learned so much since then I'm almost embarrassed what I didn't know when I made these.

This cake was something I created for the Ronald McDonald House dinner. It used buttercream icing with royal icing daisies and a little Disco Hologram dust to finish it off.

I made this cake for a surprise luau party for my husband's 30th birthday. i wanted the cake to follow the hawaiian theme, and decided to try out making hibiscus flowers with royal icing, and stamens of gum paste. I didn't quite have enought time or icing to finish out the cake with a nice border, but it did come out well and my husband was very pleased and surprised.

Made this for my Wilton Course 3 Final Cake. Made some Fondant Roses/Leaves on floral wire (like a bouquet of Roses). Added some Easter Lilies around the cake. Used a Cream Cheese Icing on this one... not a good idea when weather temperature is hot outside. Seemed like it was melting off the cake :D ... but it tasted yummy!

Made a cake for a friend’s daughter’s 2nd birthday.

It’ 2 11x15 cakes side by side (so 11x30). One cake is triple chocolate fudge.
The other is fudge marble.

Used buttercream icing to iced the cake and for decorations (Spongebob, gifts, and writings). Also used royal icing (w/c hardens for bow, jelly fish, gift and coral on cake). I couldn't see the Piping Gel transfer, so I ended up drawing Spongebob freehand.

This cake has around 700 or so loops from royal icing on it. My friend picked this cake out of the wilton wedding portfolio for me to do. I love it, it matched the beach wedding and reception club/beach house she had perfect!!!! It was yellow w/ buttercream, she is a simple person.

Basketweave Cake with royal icing flowers, gumpaste butterfly and leaves. All flowers, with the exception of the morning glory flower, were made pure white and colored with non-toxic chalks to save time. Thanks for looking!

I didn't want my cake to look like crisco so I chose light blue. Had SO much fun making the little birds! Buttercream icing, rope, and basketweave. Royal icing flowers. Lemon cake with bc filling.

Only the cake dissapeared this time. We had a mound of icing on a paper plate that everyone was glad to see go in the trash. :D

My neice didn't want a traditional graduation, the school colors, plain and boring. What better fun to have a hawiian luau themed party and cake. The flowers are airbrushed royal icing lillies and the text is made of colored chocolate, with pearls for that extra little zing.
