this is the quinceanera cake i did with my bestfriend (JAZ) for her cousins birthday. She did all of the baking and I helped with decorating and assembly. This was our first attempt at such a large cake and i think it turned out pretty well!

Joint party for two fifteen year old cousins. Identical cakes to serve added "fluff" to give the illusion of a more grand cake. Chocolate fudge cakes with raspberry and chocolate fillings. White BC piping. Pink accents. Fondant pearls. Silk flowers. White lights in glass bowl under flower bouquet....elevated.

This is the biggest cake I have made to date. There are 10 cakes, in 5 different flavors. I spent about 2 weeks baking ahead of time, and about another week to make the fondant roses and petals, and to decorate the cakes.

This is the quinceanera cake I did for my best friend's daughter on her 15th birthday. There's a total of 15 cakes, chocolate, yellow, cherry, banana and strawberry all frosted in vanilla/almond buttercream and decorated with cornelli lace. The party was a cinderella theme so we rented a custom carriage cake stand from a local store.

My partner and I do cakes together and this was our first big job.... We were impressed. The bows were a first also. Iced in buttercream with ribbon around the bottom. Bows and cakes have pearls for an added touch. "J" decorations are made from royal icing.

This was the second cake my partner and I had made for money. The customer wanted varigated pink colors to match the girls dress. Because the customer was transporting and setting the cake up herself we had to make something that she could do easily and still look good. We even designed the cake toppers with pearls and royal icing flowers! We were quite pleased with the outcome.

This doll is made with the wonder mold as a base, it broke when I removed the mold, ups!!! I need to do the doll again (but different base this time) because it is going to be in a cake coming soon.

This was for my cousin's 15th b-day. The tiers are 4, 6 , and 8" in addition to the dress. It was made with the mini wonder pan. The dress itself was made with marshmellow fondant as well as all the other little details. She had come to visit my family and I from Costa Rica; and it was the first time meeting her, so I was really glad I could make her something she could really enjoy!

This was my first quinceanera cake! I made it when I was working at a local bakery (I got to fill in for the cake decorator that day!). It might not be a perfect cake, but the customer was extremely pleased and everyone loved it. I am soooooo proud of myself! I haven't been doing this very long, I did not know I was able to pull this off. It feels great to know.

This is the "near freebie" cake I did for my hubby's friend. I'm glad I didn't charge much because I was in a bit over my head and it didn't rurn our anywhere NEAR as nice as I'd hoped! All are real cakes except the 16 inch round on the bottom. Covered in buttercream basketweave and borders. Satellite cakes have gumpaste roses

This is a 14, 10, 8, 6, 6, half ball pan tiered yellow cake in buttercream with royal hydrangeas. The doll is part of the tradition and resembles the birthday girl's dress. It was my first cake of this size. It serves 164 people. They are such a lovely family and wanted their daughter to have a big party, even if it was so far away from home and family. Fun cake to do, but now I'm sore! LOL. Design by Peggy Porschen. Thanks for looking.
