Chocolate Italian buttercream icing on 12 inch and 6 inch white cakes with fresh raspberry filling. This was my only real disaster so far-- the raspberries fermented. Tiara is gumpaste. Pearls and daisies are fondant.

This is a cake I made for a little girl turning "1"! It is a buttermilk cinnamon chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate ganache and covered in MMF! I wanted the heart tier to represent the "pillow presenting the tiara"!

This is another take on one I have already done. Just added the white chocolate tiara and dusted with silver luster dust. Many thanks to MelC for the photo of her tiara she uploaded - it worked great for me!!! Also added the little loops on the side like I had seen on the Sugar Creations website - they have beautiful cakes!!!

Thanks to the inspiriation from people on this website, I attempted a tiara cake. The tiara is made from white chocolate and the cake is an eggless recipe that I found from this site. The kids ate the whole lot. The icing is MMF also from this site and great to use once I realsised that I could reuse it when I stuffed up a few times.

This is a birthday cake for a 4-year-old who was having a Disney Princess party. The bottom tier is chocolate with chocolate BC filling, middle tier is vanilla with BC filling, and pillow is vanilla with BC filling covered in MMF and sprinkled with shimmer dust. Everything else is BC. The bottom tier split in two when I delivered it!! Talk about embarrassing! Luckily it was for friends, but still. :-(

I got another order for the same princess design I did not too long ago. I had an extra tiara that I had made in case of breakage so I was able to use that! The bottom tier is 10" chocolate layer cake filled with raspberry cream and iced in pink buttercream. The top tier is 6" lemon cake filled with lemon curd and iced in pink butttercream. roses, borders and dots are buttercream. Hearts and tiara are royal painted with luster dust. The pearls are edible dragees. I just love making this cake!

This was made for a five year old's birthday party. She specifically requested an all pink cake with a tiara on top. It's a 9 inch round chocolate on the bottom and 6 inch round strawberry cake on the top. Buttercream frosting.

This is actually my finale cake for the course 3 class, but I thought that it could make a ver pretty wedding cake or even a birthday ( sweet sixteen or something like that.) The top cake is a 6" coconut cake, the nest one is an 8" yellow and the bottom (covered by the roses) is a 10" chocolate all are covered with buttercream and fondant. I made over 100 roses to cover the sides of the 2" high 10" That became my "boarder" for the cake. I need more practice on the string work, otherwise it's ok.

I did this cake over the weekend for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. It's the first time trying a pillow cake. I iced it in buttercream because we didn't want the baby to have fondant yet. Made with 8" square pan.

I saw a lovely, perfect picture of a cake that Sugarshack made and just had to try my hand at it. My version is not even a tiny bit close to hers. The birthday girl loved it but it is probably close to my worst work. I'm not happy with how it turned out. I had to completely redo the top tier because when I woke up this morning it was leaining so bad there was no way I could show up with it. It was hideous. I had to make due and use the bulging bottom tier. How embarrassing! Oh well. I"ll try it again!

I had wanted to do this cake for a while. It's fun decorating it. This one is meant for a friend's daughter who turns 5 today. Incidentally she's dressed up with all the princess accessories, what a perfect match! The kids especially the girls were all too excited to see the cake.

Inspired by Miskyek's Gorgeous cake! My friend wanted a princess cake for her little girl. She wanted a real tiara so her daughter could "become" the princess at the party. I thought that was cute.. and easier on me! The tassels were still a major pain anyways. oh well!

This is a WASC cake with whipped icing and strawberry filling that I made for my friends daughter for her 6th birthday today. I made the tiara with candy melts (thanks to Missyek for the template) and brushed with gold luster dust. The large hearts on the sides are also candy melts.
