This was the first 2 layer cake I made for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I did the out edge a little too thin but other than that I liked it.

4 y.o. granddaughter wanted a castle cake for her Princesses and this is what we came up with. We did gather ideas from many of the cakes on here and I thank you, we couldn't have done so without the inspiration of your cakes!
10" triple layer bottom, 6" double layer top, colored balls are fondant and the towers are paper towel tubes wrapped in fondant with sugar cones on top also wrapped in fondant. Little RI flowers in the grass.

I made these for my twin girls who just had their 2nd Birthday Party. Turrets and tiara are MMF, window pictures are cello favor bags cut to size. Buttercream decorations and gumpaste roses. Cakes are (6inch) vanilla with chocolate ganache and (8inch) chocolate with Oreo cookie cream filling.

This was my attempt at a 3D castle. I used candy colored sugar cones at the customer's request. I really did not care for this cake...but the lady loved it.

This cake was freakin'huge! This is a Disney Princess cake for my neice's 6th birthday. The towers are papertowel and toiletpaper rolls covered in MMF. The tops of the towers are sugar cones. The cakes are 2 1/2 sheet cakes stacked on the bottom in chocolate, the top is 2 yellow round 7" cakes. The flowers are all MMF and the entire cake is iced in bettercreme.(Yea...I know! But that's what she wanted and I didnt have to make it!) I had a blast doing this cake. It was so much fun!

This cake was done for my daughter's 1st b-day. She had already attacked the cake causing one side to start falling before we could get a good picture of it. It was fairly easy to make although time consuming, I baked cake inside of soup cans for the towers with ice cream cones on top. Fruit roll-up mote, graham cracker drawbridge. The inside is just a drawing I made on a sheet of paper and lined the back with wax paper for easy removal.

A lesson well learned...cream cheese icing is waay to thin for star tip decorating! But it did turn out looking like cobblestones (sort of), which is a good thing. The 4yo Princess loved it!

I have done this cake once before. I am not a big fan of ice cream cone castles, but I like this one better than the first. The customer was happy with it.

This was my first try at stacking cakes. It took me a while to get it right, but I think it turned out pretty good. It is a 11x15, 2 layer 8" and a 2 layer 6" all covered in buttercream with chocolate butterflies.

Made this for my friend's daughters 5th birthday. We had a big laugh because the number on the door should read "5" but everyone thought it was an "S" for their last name. LOL

This is the 2nd time I made this castle, this time I used the little girl's picture instead of princess faces. She put her cinderella dress on and I took pics. I made this one and the Spiderman building that's on my picture gallery for their birthday we celebrated together so 2 big cakes for one day!! All buttercream.

This was a first birthday cake for my niece. My sister requested a funfetti cake iced with butter cream. I used fondant to make the roses, leaves, hearts, windows and castle door. A photo of the birthday girl was added to one of the castle windows. A tiara and a disney princess candle finished the design.

I took a couple ideas from the awesome site and put them together to make my first cake for someone outside of my family. I made this for a little girls 2nd birthday. As you can see i used sugar cones and the towers are made of paper towel rolls cut to all sizes. I covered them with BC...i am sure fondant may have been easier but still too new to adventure there. The bottom tier is 14" and the top tier is 8"....please leave honest comments..i need the advice... happy looking and God Bless!

This took forever to make! The castle is white cake with cookie filling covered with buttercream. The turrets are fondant with icecream cones covered in light blue candy melts. I used rolled buttercream for the door, rocks and etc. Transporting this made me a nervous wreck! The turrets kept leaning more and more before we got there....but I was able to fix it. The birthday girl loved it. Thank goodness!
