This was for my second daughter's first birthday. She's our little princess and deserved a fairy castle! This was taken from a book I own and some pictures at the site.

Thanks for looking,
Suzanne

This half sheet cake was designed by the young lady it was baked for. She is a self proclaimed Basketball Princess. She asked for a vanilla cake with orange and white border, a basketball, a tiara and septor. She also wanted it to be known that she is #1 on the court. I was not to pleased with the cake but she loved it. Well I guess it's anything for the kids.

I've never made a cake before and my sister is having a baby. I wanted to throw her shower and I had a great idea for a cake so I thought I"ll show my design to a woman I know that makes cakes... I'm a very maticulus person so I was hesatent letting somebody else make the cake. So I thought to myself maybe I could try to make it myself. This is what it came out like.

The castle part was made of paper towel rolls, fondant, gumpaste, sugar cones, regular ice cream cones and fairy sparkle dust. This was a challenging cake to make and took many days of preparation, but in the end, it was worth it!!

I made this cake for the daughter of a friend of mine for her 3rd birthday. She found a pic in a magazine, but it was covered in rolled fondant. I made this one out of buttercream except for the pink flowers, they are fondant. Pink icing and purple spray.

My 6 year old requested these dolls after seeing some done on this site. But she wanted me to take it a step further and make the boys to for the boys attending her party. I was really pleased with the girl cakes but the boy cakes kinda look like little fat penguins. I made the girls from mini wonder molds and boys are two cupcakes stacked. Heads, necks, bow ties, crown and girls bodies are fondant. Skirts, hair.shoes and tuxes are bc.

Did this cake for a 3 yr. old's birthday. It is my first "stranger" cake so I'm kind of uptight about it - hope they approve! Sugarshack was my inspiration. All buttercream with dragees and fondant stripes, which I let get to dry! I'm
praying they survive until the party!!

YES! I got it done and transported...how stressful! The crown broke twice and had to re-royal it a few days ago, chocolate cake is derfinately heavier and didnt "poof" as much as I thought it would, but it was SOO fun to make and do. It was delivered to my neighbor, the first ive done in the neighborhood so I was extra nervous over that! Thanks Mom for making the crown, it made the cake!

Found a photo of this online and replicated. my first ever tiered cake, first ever roses, pretty much first for everything, homemade buttercream and everything. there are a lot of things I would have done differently but my little girl liked it and that is all that matters right.

I bought the pan just for this little girl's cake and realized when it was too late to buy another one that the "face maker" had fallen off in the store. After panicking, I brainstormed and decided to improvise as best as I could. I made a copy of a picture of her, cut it out, backed it with wax-paper, and pressed it onto the cake. Everything turned out okay, thankfully!

The princess cake was made of pink and white sugarpaste.
The doll cake had a white chocolate filling white bits of crispy almonds, the bottom cake had a vanilla filling.
The birthday girl was extremely happy with the result.
And so another happy customer left the building.....

Chocolate cake with "family" bc icing. Decorator icing is regular buttercream. The "family" recipe never smooths out well--but they love the taste--so I don't worry about it. They wanted it to be very "rosey", so that's what they got. One rose for each child at the party.
