This is a half of a sheet with buttercream icing. The animals, fence, tractor and veggies are all MMF. I had a hard time with the tractor and it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it but I think the animals made up for it.

this was my fist two tier cake made for my daughter's second birthday. a total disaster, nothing went right with this one, this was my first time making mmf fondant also, i took the recipe from this web site and followed it to the T and it was too soft and too sticky, i did something wrong with it. my cake was leaning to the side also it alsmost looked topsy turvy!! and after all frustration my daughter gave me a huge kiss and called it "super"!!
any sugestions how to make it better? thanks for looking!

Its a cool pink pig. I worked on it two nights in a row, after coming home from work. Didn;t have enough time to work on it but I think it still looks really cute!

My Uncle, a hog farmer, had an extended stay in the hospital after surgery, and, he loves my cookies. I made these to cheer him up. My husband grew up on a hog farm, and, helped me with the "breeds". Somehow, I baked one pig the opposite direction of all the rest, which, was funny...as all hog farmers know, there is always that one hog that won't go with the herd. And, that one always ends up at market.

Party favors for a barnyard theme. I have to admit, I love the cow. I sweated and sweated over how to do him, but love the way he came out.

The pig is molded rice krispie treats covered with mmf on top of white cake with bc icing. The "fire" is red licorice. This was my first attempt at rice krispie molding and it was not as easy as I imagined. This was my son's birthday cake and he was happy with it, so that's all that matters.

This is the “main” cake for my Brother-In-Law’s “Luau” engagement party. It’s red-velvet with cream-cheese inside and butter-cream outside. The scorch marks are air-brushed. Ears & tail are fondant. Body is four layers of cake, with legs carved out. Neck and head are 9” round and a doll pan. This was our first time to make a cake of this size. Unfortunately the skin that formed on the icing overnight cracked as the cake jiggled during transit. (Learned about need for internal support. ;-D)

Chocolate barn cake, vanilla cupcakes all done in buttercream. Made for my niece's birthday party. The party was a weenie roast at a 100 yr. old farm, hence the barn and my niece is crazy about pigs! Thanks for looking!

A back view of the cake with pig holding sign in one hand & turkey leg in the other. LOL Notice the sign says TURKEY day. :P I was originally going to go with a sign for the pig saying "Eat more turkey" & for the turkey "eat more pork" but decided to be nice and just give a nice Thanksgiving message. MMF figures BC icing. Pumpkin cake w/ maple nut frosting.

This was for one of my sisters who loves pigs. I really wanted to do a 3D pig, but came down with a terrible tummy bug the week I was supposed to make the cake, so this was the compromise. She didn't know what it was going to be, so she was still thrilled with it. Secret Chocolate Brownie Cake Recipe

This was for my son's 2nd birthday. He is OBSESSED with horses, to put it mildly! I made this to resemble the Fisher Price Little People figures. He loved it! It was a 12x18 butter cake with regular buttercream icing, freehanded drawings. I was in a rush and didn't get to finish all the details, like grass, a haystack, etc., but was happy with it anyway.

This was for a little girls b-day. It was my second attempt at this cake. I added a mud pit for the pig and had a pond in the back for the duck. You can see some of the pond in the left corner.

This little character, Olivia, is the cutest little thing! Our children's librarian was retiring to stay home and take care of her grandchildren. They asked me to do her cake and I asked what her favorite character was. I went home with four or five Olivia books and chose the pictures from the books that best fit the librarian. My favorite is the last one with Olivia carrying the stack of books and saying, "Please ... just one more story."

Hand sculpted MMF animals, MMF decorations. My husband had to help me design the barn because I wasn't sure what one looked like, lol. This was really fun to make. Again, I was inspired by another cake here on CC.
