I made this for my boyfriends 19th birthday. It's a New York Cheesecake with a bluberry glaze. The penguins are made from marzipan and the beer cans are Wilton Candles

White cake with strawberry filling. Decorated with decorator icing, and royal icing. Penguins, Polar bear, and Walrus are fondant. Block ice wall made with sugar cubes. Piping gel used for water and "chilly" ice accents!! Notice the humor incorporated into this wintery scene!

I made this cake for my brother's birthday. He was going snowboarding the next week and since I had about 2 hours to bake and decorate a penguin was easier than a human! :)

Hands down my favorite cake. Got the idea on this site (thanks!). The penguins, fish and igloo tiles are fondant. Trees are sugar cones. Water is piping gel with blue food coloring. The igloo is the Wilton barbie doll cake pan (the dress). The cake was very time consuming but did not take much skill at all.

this cake was made with the bake and fill pan from Betty Crocker. Creamcheese/white chocolate frosting with marzipan penguins, all made by myself. At the back there's a christmas tree and gifts (all marzipan). It was made for my "meeting" that I have every tuesdays afternoon in an all-mothers group. Each year, the week before x-mas we have a potluck lunch, and they always ask me to bring a cake.

My Sara's ent off to college the same year I took my Wilton classes. When she came home from college after graduating she said she wanted a fancy cake like everyone else was getting for their bithday. She loves and collects penguins so she scoured the Wilton books this is her take on one of the cakes she saw. white cake with buttercream icing and royal penguins and gifts are I think Starbursts. the watter is piping gel.

The igloo is coverd with buttercream and the penguins and the fish are made of sourdough (experiment). The penguins were cracked when I took them out of the oven. I should have covered the board with more icing to give a snow look.

I made this cake for my sister's convocation - it's more classy than the classic cap and book theme - but the little penguins have their grad caps on!

Thanks to sone's picture of "Penguins on an iceburg"...loved it and wanted to try it. The first time to use the luster dust on fondant and use glaze for "painting" the penguins. The water is glaze as well. Yellow cake with strawberry.

This was my Christmas cake. I had a snow theme going on. Its' white cake and buttercream with fondant covering. This was my first attempt at cake carving and it was soooo much fun. Unfortunately, it settled a bit unfer all that fondant and my dowel poked out the top. If you look closely, you can see where I tried to camoflauge it.

I made these for a customer who's 2 children have birthdays only a week apart...they had one huge Madagascar themed birthday party for both kids...the youngest was turning 1, so I also made a smash cake for him.

The 3-tiered cake will feed 55+. Both are all white cake with all buttercream icing. The characters are royal icing transfers...the leaves, rocks & palms are all MMF, pretzel rods for palm trunks...the water is buttercream painted with piping gel...everything is edible! :0)

Thanks for looking!

I got this idea from someone here on CC. I am sorry I dont know who they are so I cant credit their name. I made the snow and sides of the cakes out of royal icing. The penguins are completely made of fondant. The little presents are also made of fondant with royal touches.

My son requested a penguin cake for his 3rd birthday. I made it from two rectangle cakes cut to shape. Covered it in vanilla and chocolate icing using a star tip. He loved it! :)

This was an unusual request for a baby shower cake when they asked for a polar bear and penguin. I racked my brain trying to figure out what to put on it, and then I came across these two really cute pictures and put them together. I put a little plastic baby bottle in the bear's hand, and I added a bonnet to the penguin to make him look like the baby. The lady I did this for was very pleased! For this picture I used the gel pattern transfer method.

This is a carrot cake decorated with cream cheese icing that I did for my family's Christmas party.
The tree is the top of an ice cream cone decorated with the leaf tip. I made the penguins using cream cheese icing (the black is from the ready to use tubes). The pond and sides are colored with the Wilton Color Mist. The icicles are done using tip 12 and I made it shimmery with the Wilton edible glitter.
