This is a cake I made for my daughter's 13th Birthday. She loves Peace Frogs so I took this pattern from a shirt of hers. This is my first attempt at using the Wilton Spray Mist also and I really liked it!!

Peppermint Cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream and covered with Peppermint MMF and royal icing piping, dusted with superpearl. The Tree is MMF with royal accents as well. The sides of the cake say Peace, Joy, Hope, and Love. I like the overall concept of this cake, but my execution of the idea was not the best. I had decorated my twins' birthday cakes (the choo choo train and mermaid cakes) and had their party the day before, so I was tired!

this cake was for someone who just really likes frogs (especially peace frogs). The frog on top is MMF and the peace frogs on the sides area freehanded. I actually tried to do a FBCT with the peace frogs on the side, but they melted in my hand so fast and broke.

This cupcake tower was for my friend's baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of her baby girl she is adopting from China that she waited over 2 years for. Used buttercream icing in (no-taste) red, yellow on homemade chocolate squares and gold edible glitter, all traditionally lucky colours in Chinese culture. The symbols represent love, eternity and peace.

I did this for a friend's birthday. They wanted a 70's themed cake. I used the new Crisco for the buttercream and for the first time in years I couldn't get the icing to act right! It just wouldn't smooth and take the color but it was too late to start over!

It's buttercream and everything else is made from fondant.

This is my first suitcase cake. It's for a girl who is joining the Peace Corps for the next 2 years. The flag "stickers" represent a few of the countries she has already visited.

tree stump with fondant animal pelt, gumpaste feathers, fondant medicine bag, peace pipe is a replica of what customer gave me to go buy (made of sugar paste) and hand painted. the rest is airbrushed. Had lots of trouble after I put the feathers in the cake, they got soggy and started breaking.

This was made for a friend's 40th bday party that was 70's themed. Based the colors off the ribbon and her only request was "70's type flowers, peace signs and WILD bright colors" :) I think I accomplished that! All fondant except the topper and bottom items are gumpaste.

This was my most favorite creation! The cake is covered in fondant and the decorations were made with royal icing. The peace signs were also made with royal icing, dried, then painted with color spray.

Gelatin on wires accent this fondant covered cake. RI is accented with silver Luster Dust. I made a tiny cookie cutter for the red coke bottles on the cake board!

This cake is a collaboration with my friend mkm1205, we've been taking the Wilton class together as well as facilitating Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University at our church. We just *HAD* to make a cake for the session on dumping debt and cutting up credit cards. The cards and scissors are MMF and were super fun!

The tie dye was easier than I was expecting it be and I really got the hang of it when I was finished! Flag on top with peace symbol of dragee stars. Customer wanted the cake to make the invitations. Other than my flag falling off my skewer flag pole, it turned out ok. TFL!

These were for a 12 year old girl who wanted a sort of groovy girl type theme. These are iced with buttercream and accented with marshmallow fondant and dragees.

It's a 2 layer chocolate cake with peanut butter cream filling. I used my airbrush for the first time in making the colors on the cake. The peace sign, heart, and flip flops were frozen buttercream transfers.

A combo birthday for a 17 yo girl and a 50 yo guy...her uncle. It was a little challenging coming up with a cake that went together since they wanted the Cleveland teams on the cake....
