This was my first order from a stranger so I was soooo stressed. This cake was a chocolate cake, buttercream frosting and MMF. It was for a 14 yr olds birthday. Her mom made a drawing of what she wanted, her daughter LOVES zebra stripes and piece signs. She only wanted a 1/4 sheet cake with the peace sign on top and zebra stripes around the side, but I went ahead and made the 6" circle. I thought it would look better for the piece sign she LOVED it and I got two more order from her :O)

My second fondant cake... A birthday cake for my neice who loves peace signs. Learned a lot! Don't brush water on the fondant to get the cornstarch off... it makes it shiny!! Also, I should have let my peace sign dry before putting it on the cake. It distorted when I moved it. Better luck next time!

Birthday cake for my friends daughter. She was very specific about her cake details. She wanted monkeys, her clothing designs (she sent me two to choose from), and peace signs. This is what I came up with. I used FBCT for the monkeys and then made the clothes out of fondant and layed on top. Added the peace signs around 2 sides of the cake. The birthday girl thought it was perfect and loved that I used both of her clothing designs.

This is a strawberry lemonade cake. I "tye dyed" the cake by swriling strawberry and lemonade batter. It is an all butter buttercream, by clients request , with fondant flowers and smiley faces, the peace sign is 50/50 gumpast - fondant. It was fun to do a girly cake I have 3 boys so I do lots of boy stuff.

My friend wanted an all buttercream cake done in tie dye for her little girls b'day, I had no idea where to even begin! I ended up doing circles and abstract with the different colors and then went back with a toothpick and dragged the colors together at the edges. The peace sign is cut out of the top layer of the cake, while the bottom layer was left in one piece. It's a 10" white cake. I also tie dyed the inside by coloring the batter the same as the icing and dropping it by spoonfuls into the pan. PM me if you'd like a picture of it, it's amazing!

Since I don't have an airbrush, I used Wilton's cans of spray "color mist" to get a tye-dyed effect on the sides. All buttercream except for the fondant flowers and the funky tappit letters
