This is a birthday cake for a Physicians Assistant at my wife’s work. They wanted a cake with a simple design that was their only request. Because it was for a work party at the ER I went with a medical theme. The artwork is a stethoscope, a Percussion hammer, and an ECG rhythm.

This cake was made for the nurses in the ICU ward at Hillcrest Hospital. The bear nurse has the Hillcrest logo on her hat and I used the Hillcrest "blue" for the cake. I wanted it to kind of look like a thank you card.

Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate cream filling and iced in buttercream. Decorations are candy and brushed with luster dusts. Just a quick cake! My husband asked me to make a cake for him to take to work. He is a RN so this is what I came up with.

This cake is a chocolate and coconut marble with chocolate bavarian creme filling - tastes like a Mounds bar! My mother-in-law is a nurse at the med center, and after telling the other nurses about my daughter's birthday cake (same flavors), they wanted one, too! I had just found the t-shirt pan, so came up with this design...they loved it!

This cake was for my neice's graduation from Nursing School. I got the nurse's head off of the Internet from a Clipart site; copied and enlarged it. I used two cake mixes; 13x9 pan and 9x9 round pan for the head. I used bakery frosting: (Crisco, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.) I made drop flowers the day before I decorated and put them in the freezer until I was ready to use them.

I really enjoyed making this cake! Thanks to TamiAZ for the idea. This was for a graduation and they chose the colors to go with the flowers and the cap on top is a nurse's hat.

This half sheet cake was made for a nurses last day on the job. She transfered to another city. The staff on her floor had a small farewell party for her. This site is where I got my inspiration for this cake. Thanks to all of you who love to bake cake and make people smile.

This is a cake for my uncle's birthday. His wife is a nurse, and the text on the cake (not added yet) is going to read "bottom's up!." This was my second FBCT ever, and the first one that turned out right.

With much help from forum, hers the operation man I really didn't want to do, (for a male RN and surgical scrub tech) which I think shows in final results:( For those of you who gave advice/support in thread, I gave her a discount for cake, since it wasn't as nice as I hoped and I wanted her to be happy.

Made this for a friend's birthday. She's dating a poultry science professor and she's a nurse...voilà -- a chicken nurse. She LOVED it. Body is 3D ducky. Hat, nose and bow are fondant. Only thing I forgot was the stethoscope!

Our administrative boss, reg. nurse as well, left us last week and this was our wards Goodbye-cake. Used a Wilton 16 x 16 " for the first time. Very scary, especially as my oven was too small and I had to bake it with the ovendoor open approx 1 ".......

My father has been in hospital for many weeks now, his ward is having a fundraising cake stall. My whole family looked at me….. I decided on Nurse Cupcakes. Idea came from a Wilton yearbook. They were quick and easy but I hate the mouth :)

This is my first buttercream transfer. From the mistakes in the way it looks, I learned alot!! The cake was made today for my sisters nursing class tomorrow, just because they are almost done with school. It is just a plain 12"x12" white cake, with buttercream frosting. I only used one box of mix so it is thin, but that is because I did not want it to be too heavy for my sister to carry to class with her bookbag and everything.
