This cake was a project! My customer wanted a picture of Kasey Khane's car which I can d obut the local cake store that has the edible image printer their printer was down. They told me to try Albertson's and I did I called a couple 1st. One Albertson's was out of ink, the other said they could do it but when I went down there the image did not come out good. Then I called one last Albertson's store and I practily has to beg the lady to do it. She did it and it came out too small but I used it anyway.

This cake was done on a spur of the moment. My BF's father took his car drag racing on Father's day. The 2 1/2 Ton Indian (car name) logo is in the top corner. While my dad really enjoys nascar, favorite driver #48 Jimmie Johnson, Bottom corner. So I encorperated both into this cake. My first BCT, which I learned a few lessons. Glad they were small transfers I had to redo the Indian a few times to get it right.

11X15 marble cake iced in buttercream. The '3' is made with a FBCT and the signature was made using the piping jell technique (1st time and I love it!). The checkered sides were done freehand. My customer saw the one that djjarrett88 had done (htank you!) and loved it so here is my version.

The birthday boy requested a Nascar cake with the #8 Dale Jr. race car on it. I found this chocolate in the Valentine's Section of my local store. The top of the Cupcake Cake is iced in buttercream with an airbrushed background. I really had fun with this one!

3-D cruiser pan on top of a 9X13 base, French Vanilla iced with buttercream. Replaced the 'Bud' logo with the name of the birthday boy. I wasn't happy with how this cake turned out at all but the Mom sent me a lovely thank-you note saying how much her little guy loved it.

This was for my little boy's 4th birthday party. He had a race car theme and we went from there. It was a really good cake but everyone was walking around with black mouths. haha

My first character cake. Not too bad. The red should be redder and a little neater, but not bad for my first time.

Our store manager's wife is have a baby. It was decided that we would hgive him a baby shower. He's really into racing and Dale Ernhardt Jr. i was asked to make his shower cake. It has a baby in pink chocolate craddle (he's having a girl) she is sucking her thumb. a checkered flag has her all tucked in for her nap. The flag drapes from the craddle to the bottom the cake. The black round cake is a "GoodYear" tire. her wubby bear is holding a Ernhardts number flag. and onsies on the side of the top tier.

All in buttercream. Done for a Jeff Gordon fan (wouldn't be my choice of drivers). Customer didn't care what was done as long as it had something to do with racing. This is what I came up with.

This is an old picture, from back when I was married, LOL. My husband was a big Nascar fan, particularly of DE. He stood over me as I made this, dictating how it would look, so I don't think it's really my design. LOL I just did what he told me to do.

This is the final version of my brother-in-law's birthday car. I think i actually like the original version better for some reason. maybe because the car was shorter.. I'm not sure. Any ideas? suggestions? comments?
Oh, and it is devil's food cake with bavarian creme filling and buttercream iced. It is from the 3D cruiser pan

This is a kit. Because of copywrite restrictions it *MUST* be done *EXACTLY* as the directions given :(
1 and 1/2 quarter sheet cakes are used to create it. The stiring wheel, helment, and gauges are plastic. Color is airburshed. Chocolate/black used for borders.
