11" x 14" sheet cake, white cake w/ Cool Whip & fresh fruit center, buttercream transfer (first ever!!). Made Summer of 2003 before I took the Wilton Courses .. which explains lack of bottom border!! :-)

Top view of the baby shower cake. Did a FBCT of the invitation. This picture makes it look great, but I think from now on i'll stick to using fondant cutouts, much less messy.

This is a 10in round chocolate/confettii cake frosted with a whipped topping and decorated with gels with gold dragees to make the star in the middle.
Totally freehanded. I made this for a co-worker whose in celestial things and wanted to make something that looked more "grown up" than putting a big sun/moon on it. Thanks for looking.

Thanks to bigcatz for the inspiration! This was huge hit at the shower yesterday. It was my first time making sheep and I wasn't totally thrilled, but my husband said if my two year old could tell they were "eep", they must look like sheep. Ok. :)

My first time to work with MMF and I love it! So much easier than reg fondant and such fun. Tastes better too. Moon, stars and little baby are MMF, the rest is BC.

I decided to make this cake today at 5:00 pm, when my friend called and told me they where going to stop by my house tomorrow early in the morning, I don’t get to see her often, We live 6 hours apart, and since She does not have any family or more close friends in the state, this is provably going to be her only baby shower cake, its small in size but huge in love and best wishes for her. Everything mmf.

This is marble cake with BC icing. The moon and stars are fondant. I got this idea from this website and changed it a bit. This is the first time I used fondant outside of the Wilton classes I took. I've always be intimitated by fondant, but found it was pretty easy to work with. Although, the shapes were very easy to do (not a lot of manipulation).

I took a Colette Peters workshop this past weekend, this was my first time working with fondant and luster dust. I wasn't completely happy with the cake but learned alot and had a wonderful time. It's styrofoam with fondant and gumpaste accents.

This is a 1/2 sheet, banana and chocolate cake frosted in buttercream.
Wolf was drawn on and filled in with gels, and sky was air brushed.
I made this for a co-worker and good friend who loves the southwest and was leaving her job for other opportunities. Good Luck!!

Ball is covered in fondant and painted with petal dust, blocks are covered in fondant, decorated in buttercream, Goodnight Moon is made from buttercream, "smash cake" is all buttercream. I must admit I had to upload so many views because I really did love how this whole thing turned out! The display with the real blocks and toys came out so cute.
