This was for a 12yo girl who has loved monster trucks since a little tyke. It was fun to make and not as difficult as I thought it would be...coming from a beginner!

This is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing. I donated a coupon for a cake at a silent auction at my son's school in the spring. This was the cake I was asked to make by the winner of the auction for her son's birthday.

This was a 24 cupcake cake made to resemble a monster truck. It is buttercream with buttercream filled cupcakes and a little royal icing too. The truck was a buttercream transfer. I did the wheels separate from the body and then added the details after it was on the cake. The silver is actually royal icing, it kinda left it with a shiny metalic sheen. I had the worst time making the red for the truck. I made the icing over 24 hrs ahead of time and it just wouldn't darken. I added maroon, a touch of black but still didn't get what I wanted. Oh well hopefully won't have that problem next time since I just ordered some americolor super red & others, can't wait to try that stuff!!

My cousin's little boy requested a Monster Truck cake and wanted Grave Digger. I found a side view of the real truck and did my best at recreating it in a cake version. I have found that the more I do, the more I learn and the better I will be. The truck is chocolate cake stacked with ganache filling then covered in fondant. The bottom layer is French Vanilla, buttercream icing and crushed sugar wafers for the dirt. I am sure he will love it but I wish I was more of an artist when it comes to drawing. LOL

This is a Grave Digger monster truck cake for my co-workers son. I made it so the Grave Digger truck was destroying all of the other trucks in the graveyard. The tombstones are chocolate covered grahm crackers. The logo behind the truck is a chocolate transfer.

Sample cookies for my son. He had a Monster Truck party and wanted anything with fire on it... I have since perfected the flames and should really post the better ones, if I can only find them!

I did this for my son's 7th birthday. He loves Grave Digger! It's a yellow cake, decorated in all buttercream, except for the tires. The tires are off of one of DS's trucks.

My nephew loves trucks so for his birthday I made him this cake with buttercream icing and airbrushed the green and blue. The truck is not edible. He was very surprised.

My son's 10th birthday cake and he wanted a monster truck so this is what I came up with. I would have like to have put more on the truck but couldn't think of anything. My first cupcake cake. It was alot of fun.

For my 3-year-old's preschool class birthday party. He LOVES the Grave Digger monster truck so I modeled it after that, eliminating the scary skull and crossbones stuff :)

I made this cake for my husbands b-day, he wanted one that looked just like his favorite RC car. This was the first 3-D cake that I have made, and knowing what I know now, I would have changed a bunch of things, but I dont think it's too bad for a first.

This request was a lot of fun. I used Boweens Gravedigger as a starting point and had some fun doing it. This customer also gave me a theme and serving amount and let me have at it. Cake was half white and half orange creamsicle covered with white buttercream then covered with Black colored orange flavored MMF. The orange flavor complemented both flavors really well. Wheels were Rice Krispies covered with BC then Black MMF

BCDream and edible images. I used 2 tiny loaf pans carved out for the truck, with mini choc donuts for the wheels. Mountain of cake underneath the truck, with Oreo dirt. My little guy wanted the cake "flamed" all over, so that's the deal with the fire LOL!

This was for a boy's 3rd birthday. His favorite monster truck is obviously the Grave Digger. It is a 9" x 13" sheet with 2 8" rounds as wheels. I iced the whole thing in non-colored bc 1st and then went back with the black so it wouldn't taste too horrible

I used the 3D Cruiser pan for this. The wheels are Rice Krispie treats covered with fondant. The cake is also covered with fondant and then I free handed the picture and painted the whole cake. After doing this, I really want to get an edible image printer!!!

This cake is all white, w/BC icining & crushed graham crackers for "dirt". My directions was only Hot Wheels theme no other specifics. Always wanting to do something different, I thought of the idea of a car jumping over a pond of alligators. (The b-day boy loves alligators.) So I placed a plastic bowl in the cake w/colored water and placed 2 plastic alligators in it. I also used plastic Hot Wheels race track. The kids loved the "water" in the cake! Again another HUGE hit at the party!

This was a version of the Wilton 2004 Yearbook's monster truck cake. I tried to make the truck resemble "the gravedigger" truck.
