A cake for a man and woman's birthday. I struggled with a design, but this is what I came up with. A white chocolate amaretto cake with lemony almond cream cheese filling.

Made for a friend who got the idea from a magazine. Very beautiful outdoor wedding! Initials were made from floral wire, and silk flowers.

Made for a friend whose husband ate the top tier, not knowing they were supposed to save it for their anniversary. It's a six inch square, with silk tiger lilies. Scrolls on one side, monogram on the other.

Second view of anniversary tier. It looks kind of naked on top, I added more flowers and leaves later. I also found out that the corners of a square cake are very difficult to smooth!

This was my first oval wedding cake. I covered it in Satin Ice, and used Super Pearl Luster Dust on it. The bride wanted and eggplant-colored fondant ribbon. I used Eggplant petal dust, followed by a layer of Grape Luster Dust. The ribbon was fondant, but the bow was my first attempt with Gumpaste. She also wanted monogrammed initials on the top layer.

This was my first time doing a FBCT. Turned out fairly decent. Cornelli lace could have been better but after frosting the cake 4 different times, I was so tired! Thanks for looking!

This is the small Wilton Oval Pan (my favorite!!) Chocolate buttercream, RI violets, and sugar dusted RI 'dots'. Made for a friend's birthday. I wish I had taken the picture before I smashed it with the cake carrier and had to redo it!!

This cake is 10" chocolate bottom, 8" white middle and 6" chocolate and white top layer. The tiara is MMF and gumpaste mix with pearl luster dust. Frosted in BC with BC dots and pink ribbon. I cannot frost BC smooth for the life of me! Thanks to Dennisclan for the idea.

A baby shower cake made to match the fabric from the nursery. It looks like quite a chic nursery. Everything was done in decorator icing.

This was my first wedding cake and for my brother. I had trouble with my fondant. Bottom layers are styrofoam and the top was raspberry lemon & covered in fondant. There is black and pink ribbon around each layer with rhinestones glued to the front. To make the monogram I printed the letters on paper in the same font as the wedding invitations (I also made those) and my dad cut them out of wood with a scroll saw and put dowel rods in the bottom, painted with pink paint then sprayed with pearl paint.

6 in. & 10 in. White rum sour cream cake w/ Vanilla-rum Buttercream. The Monogram is fondant painted w/ cognac & super pearl. The "scroll" work is the Corinthians 13 verses 4-7. My ex neighbors called me a few days before wanting an inexpensive wedding cake for friends' wedding reception at home on a Monday. They said they could only afford a 1/4 sheet cake (for 20 people) but I just couldn't let someone's wedding cake be sheet cake. I made this and they were so happy & grateful; it made my day!

This cake is my first wedding/anniversary cake. The couple I made it for was celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary but never had a wedding cake so their daughter asked me to create a wedding cake for them. The only specification she had was that the cake was supported by glass champagne glasses like hers was. It was a little bit of a challenge because the cake I was modeling after did not have a cake plate showing and they did not want a cake plate under the fondant.

This is my first wedding cake! A little embarrassed about the lumpy top tier and the scrolls, but all in all i'm pretty happy with it...I received a lot of compliments on the taste, so that made all the hard work and stress worth it... (i even got asked to do another wedding!:) -top & second tier white cake w/raspberry and cream cheese filling, bottom lemon/lemon filling- 6,8,&10 inch for a small wedding at home...

Buttercream with real ribbon and strands of rhinestones. Sugarpaste monogram on the top tier and fresh roses. Hint: I cut the rhinestones apart for the top tier since its SMBC and I didn't want them sliding off!
