This is an Chocolate Amaretto cake- made the Amaretto cake out of cake mix doctor and added about 5 tablespoons of cococa powder to it. I wanted to make this for work and thought I would try my hand at our new logo. I did it freehand since I did not have time to do a frozen BCT. Still working on my smoothing techniques- tried something different this time.

I was thinking about including one of these in all the bouquets I make. I think I need to make them larger to perfect the writing. This one is 3 inches. I'm going to try 4 and see if the writing is easier to do.

I was a bit disappointed that the photo exposed the bleed of the black in the FBCT... it didnt look that bad in person... twigs, holly leaves and berries all done in fondant.

This was my first cupcake cake. It was easy to do, but I think next time I will try not staggering the cupcakes to get a more uniform square look.

I wanted to play with left over MMF and do something creative. It didn't come out that great but it was ok. My neighbor loves starbucks and it happened to be his bday the next day, so I gave it to him.

My husband calls these my "blasphemous cookie order". (He's a Colts fan!)

These were quite hard! Those little diamonds are pretty challenging to get right. Well, at least it wasn't the Vikings or anything! hahaha

Done freehand while I studied the movie logo online. My oval cutters weren't quite the right shape, so I couldn't go to all the edges. I should have just adjusted the pattern to fit my cookie shape. I don't like the "empty" spaces!

Used Americolor food colorings.

This was for a businesses 3rd anniversary. It is Chocolate cake with Cookies and Cream filling, Buttercream and Black MMF. The Company logo I had to make a stencil of it and then used luster dust to get the silver. This cake didn't take a good picture. The seam that is running down it you couldn't see when looking at it. But the MMF that I made looked like leather, it was awesome, I still don't know how I got it to look like that but will have to play around to see if I can get it like that again.

My very very first decorated cakes I made yesterday:) I know I have a lot to work on the 3D basketball cake - I shouldn't fill the ball cake so much, I guess... but I'm quite satisfied with the FBCT frog logo on the otherone - ok for the very first time;) Hope to get better, of course;)

Basketball is shocolate madeira cake with cream cheese filling covered with homemade sugerpaste (fondant) and the logo cake is done in FBCT, sponge cake with chocolate mousse filling with wild cherries.

This is my tenth cake and was a requested commission 3 days ago. I had total carte blanche for design, style and serving size. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed and not ready for this, as I wanted to practice for a year! But the person who is getting this cake sits right next to me and is my biggest fan. Anyway it is 8x13 chocolate/raspberry and pettinice. The red "D" is our company logo. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I made this for a friend who is doing the March of Dimes Walk today with other friends to honor their preemies. I'm not totally thrilled with it, mostly b/c I had some architectural problems with the top layer so I'm not too fond of sheet cakes right now! LOL White and chocolate layers with cocoa buttercream filling. March of Dimes logo on the top.

This was huge! It fed 100 people, half white and half chocolate. They wanted their logo reproduced on top, but NOT an edible image. This is what they got!

This is the cake I ended up doing for my second class in course 1. I had to finish most of it at home but I think it turned out pretty good. This is also the first time I've ever baked a round cake or made iciing.

My son asked me to do a cake for his co-workers for theGrand Opening of their new location. 2-layer chocolate fudge cake with crusting cream cheese filling and frosting. The "interstate" sign is the company's logo, so I made the fondant decorations also in the red/white/blue theme.
