Fisher Price Little People party, all BC. I mentioned to my 5 yr old that I was going to put the Little People figures "around the cake". What I meant was on the table, around the cake. Obviously he thought something else, because when I came back in the room he had put them all "around" on TOP of the cake - hee hee! He did a good job, it did look really cute and he could tell everyone he helped.

This was a last minute (2 day notice) cake and as we all know little mermaid isnt too popular anymore so I couldnt find any toys or cake toppers anywhere. My brother found these in Houston they went to a leggo set and drove them to me in Lake Charles. It was a life saver! I think it came out pretty good for such short notice! All the shells are chocolate.

Okay this is my attempt at the MLP cake from Debbie Brown's Lovable Character's book.... let's just say I'm not gonna put her out of business any time soon! I was trying to use rolled buttercream for everything and I'm not quite sure how to work with it yet so I was getting frustrated. The ponies peeking out of the windows are a little creepy looking - I had given up at that point and just tried to make "something" to fit in the windows.... all in all I think it turned out okay.

I made this for my daughter's 4th Birthday. It is a My Little Pony cake I made using the Wilton Precious Pony pan. It is modeled after the pony Fluttershy, since Fluttershy has a pink body and she wanted a pink MLP.

FBCT with buttercream icing. Fondant flower cut outs on the side. This cake was for my niece. I wish I could figure out how to get the icing in the fbct smoother.

Made this cake for twins that were graduating from 8th grade. Used little hero pan. I had no idea what to do until a member from CC suggested to just use my imagination. So I did. And I thank you very much I tried to find your cc name but could not find the message I had written. Talk about being a newbie HEE HEE! Had lots of fun doing this one. Chocolate cake with strawberry filling buttercream frosting with fondant and edible glitter. I found it Thank You Lukasross!=)

This is the twin that I did. It was a boy and girl graduating from 8th grade. Both pictures are now uploaded. White cake with custard filling. The family loved the cakes and so did all the guests. Buttercream fondant and edible glittler. Made the cap out of card board wrapped it with foil and star piped the buttercream with tip #16 and added fondant tassel. Should have made the hair a little nicer

I made this for my daughter's 5th birthday this weekend, we had an Ariel party. I marbeled the fondant to look like water, the bottom layer darker than the top because it's "deeper." I used brown sugar for sand and made the flowers out of fondant. The seaweed is buttercream and the seashells are chocolate (Wilton candy mold). The cake is yellow with regular buttercream.

I made this cake for my mom. It's a 6" cake. We were going together for the weekend to my grand-father's funeral and we were leaving on her birthday. So when we stopped for lunch I gave it to her for dessert. She was really surprised!!

I have decided to try and sell my cakes. From what I've learned on CC, the best way to drum up business is to give away free cakes and leave your business cards w/them. This is for the Pediatric unti at my local hospital. CCC w/whipped cream BC. Pony is BCT.

I wasn't pleased w/the little lines in this transfer, so after I posted this pic, I Viva'd it. I'd read this in an old post. Worked perfectly! Will remember this next time and do it before I put the border on!

I used the little mouse pan for this cake. I have looked everywhere for an Over the Hedge pan, but have found nothing. RJ's hair is made from the grass tip. I used tip 16 for the sides and edges. He was a lot of fun to make and also the second cake for the day.

What was Sleeping Beauty dreaming of for those 100 years? What if she had been reading a book of fairy tales before she fell asleep? Her world melts down into the top of Cinderella's castle, which is in the clouds of Snow White's forest, which rests atop the Little Mermaid's world under the sea. As you can see, each princess is asleep, dreaming of their own true love. ( fondant/ beginning of idea from Debbie Brown's Sleeping Beauty)

This cake is decorated mostly with airbrush, then I went back and piped on the little ponies and drew a few outlines w/MMBC. The rainbow had clear sparkles and the tree had purple glitter, but that never shows up in pics. Thanks for looking!

It's been months since I've made a cake - can't really seem to find any enthusiasm but I sort of got the bug today when I modelled this little fellow - I borrowed from Aine2 whose cakes I just love! The cake is covered in MMF and the rest is Wilton fondant - I HATE this MMF and won't do it again because I get SO angry when it doesn't work properly - and cakedecorating should be fun shouldn't it!

I have come to realize that when you really focus and take time with FBCTs, they turn out well. I was very pleased with how this turned out. So was the girl it was for.
