Round, 2 tier wedding cake with lavendar fondant.  Top tier chocolate fudge cake with Wilton's chocolate icing as filling.  Bottom tier is French Vanilla with Wilton's chocolate icing as filling.  The sides are decorated with #1 tip dots to look like dotted swiss.  The petunias are piped from royal icing with sparkles for extra appeal.

This has bright purple ribbon around the bottom of tieres with lavendar daisys and some darker purple colored flower.

I made this for my sister's bridal shower.  Still need a lot of  practice with fondant.  Can't seem to get that "crisp" look that so many here have.  Had a lot of air bubbles and wasn't as level as I would have hoped but, overall I was pleased.  My sister loved it.  My second attempt at cornelli lace.  12", 10", and 8", each layer torted 2x's.  From top to bottom:  banana cake with strawberry filling, chocolate cake with strawberry filling, vanilla cake with buttercream filling.

The color theme for this 2 year old's birthday party was pastel pink and lavender with gold stars. I created this cake to coordinate with the theme.

My rendition of wilton's "The Glow Endures". 14" round is chocolate amaretto cake with a seedless raspberry cream filling. The 10" round and the 6" round were done tiramisu style, all decorated with buttercream.  Cake topper is the chinese symbol for double happiness, a good luck symbol common in chinese weddings. The bride was Chinese.

This design is from a Wilton book.  I was asked to incorporate lavendar into the cake, so I added lavendar hearts and a rose boquet with pink and lavendar roses.

Top layer - chocolate; Middle Layer - fresh strawberry; Bottom Layer - butter.  Icing and roses are all buttercream.  First time doing stringwork.  I've learned a lot since then but still find it difficult to do.

This is my first ever wedding cake. Each of the three cakes have a different flavoring (the larger cake is vanilla almond with cherry pie filling, one of the smaller two is chocolate chocolate chip with dark chocolate mousse filling, and the other of the smaller cakes is a red velvet cake with raspberry preserve filling). All three cakes are decorated with roses that match the colors of the wedding. The entirety of all three cakes are buttercream, including air-dry buttercream for the roses.

The bride called Monday asking if I could make her wedding cake for Saturday(!). She didn't care about design, just wanted something to coordinate with her colors of lavendar and white, and she wanted it to be square, and very simple/clean. This is what I came up with. Top two tiers are sweet orange cake, bottom tier is a dummy. Orange-flavored lavendar IMBC, white drop-swiss dots. Design inspiration from Helen (aka Antonia74), although mine aren't as perfect as hers, and also I went for a more random look.

14 inch spice cake, 10 inche vanilla-carrot cake both with buttercream frosting for filling.  Sage green polka dot ribbon, silk gerbera daisies and lavendar babies breath.

This cake was a 9" and 12" stacked heart iced in buttercream with lattice work done using a #48 tip and shell border using #32 tip. The topper was a set of Wilton silver bells.

This purse was for a girl's 18th birthday.  It is the first attempt at a purse cake.  She loves lavendar and baby blue.  The purse is buttercream.  The accents are fondant.  Silver shimmer paint was used for the zipper.

So gorgeous!  The girls were in awe.  I did this one for my daughter's tinkerbell party..turning 5 and 7.  Tink is a toy..the flowers are royal, the rest is buttercream.

12 x 18 sheet; all buttercream with lace design, daisies and a couple of 2-toned roses near the middle.  This was patterned after the "80th Birthday" cake.

I just made these for a friend's daughter cause we happened to be coming for dinner on on her birthday.  The ice cream cone cupcakes always remind me of when I was a mom always made them!  I love the fun princess colors and sprinkles...just looks like a party!

Just tiny cupcakes for my daughter Mailee to bring to Kindergarden on her "real birthday".  I used the leftover royal icing flowers from her Tinkerbell cake (see Tink cake in my photos) Buttercream icing for the lavendar.

My daughter's 3rd b-day.  White cake, custard...buttercream and a bit of MMF..first try with the MMF..very fun!  I used the wilton square pan for the pillow and mini loaf pans for the dog.  Rice Krispies for her head and tail.

White buttercakes with white buttercream icing. Lavendar and purple flowers cut from fondant and placed all over cakes. Fresh stock and baby's breath placed on top and on middle tier of cake. This was for an outdoor wedding. Bottom tier was filled with caramel, middle tier with bavarian creme, and top tier with buttercream icing. This cake was a joint effort by myself and my wonderful cousin, from whom I learned all about cake decorating. She has her own catering business and invited me along to assist.

This cake was a last minute decison by my customer and ordered a day in advance. Luckily Mom helped me by making all the buttercream roses. It is a Fr Van, 12 and 8 inch tiered cake. I freehanded white buttercream scrolls all over the cake and then placed the roses and leaves. The customer requested the colors of pink, lavendar and blue. So I made a blue bow for the topper and lavendar white chocolate butterflies, and "60" (coated in clear sugar crystals) as accents. They were thrilled with the cake  :D

This cake was for a vow renewal ceremony.  First time for such an important occasion, I usually just make cakes for office birthdays.   It's all buttercream with gumpaste flowers (first time ever using gumpaste).

Tiramisu, 12-10-8 beveled edge tiers. Pattern on the cake was inspired by the couple's bedding on their wedding registry. Big party for 2 wonderful co-workers, everyone loved the cake, people were coming back for seconds :). (Darn wilton pans though created a desing flaw in my setup, but that's the edge that's not facing the picture. ;) )

14", 10" and 6" tiers. Fresh roses and lavendar.We baked the cakes in NY, froze them and took them on the plane to ID where we decorated and assembled. It isn't perfect, but we had no major disasters and the bride(my niece) and groom were pleased.
