Full sheet cake iced in buttercream with white chocolate candy clay flowers. Supposed to look like the cake is wearing a grass skirt and a lei ..............I guess lol. The request was "do whatever you want, just make it hawaiian themed and put THIS saying on it"..not sure what to make of the saying??? : )

6,8,10,and 12" round cakes covered in fondant with black scrolls painted on with black food coloring. It was 92 degrees out the day of the wedding and pouring down rain so this is a pic of it on their kitchen table (it was an outside reception) then we brought the cake out (rain stopped, sun came out yeah 90 degree + weather) for the cutting, luckily there were no mishaps! Oh and the whole think was airbrushed with pearl shimmer color stuff.

5 tiered 6",8",10",12" and 14" round cakes stacked and covered in mmf that was airbrushed with pearl color for the shimmer effect (can't tell in the photos). White chocolate seashells and coral, seashells dusted with super pearl luster dust. It was hot out and so the cake isn't as perfectlly straight as I would have wanted it to be, but I guess it's ok as long as it doesn't fall over!!!!

Here is a close-up of the chocolate treasure chest from my treasure map cake, inside is fondant gold (I cheated and put a blob of fondant and then used a tip #5 to make the impression of coins and then made like 4 actual little coins lol) edible pearls, a gold crown, a golden chalice, and blue gem stones

Fall leaves made out of buttercream using somewhat of the brushed embroidery technique, although I stink at it.
I took some inspiration from TT's autumn cake (I think it was number 6)

1/4 sheet cake iced in buttercream. The bride's colors were black, silver, and baby blue. They asked for Silver borders ( yeah right lol) and black writing and their "theme" was the double hearts....other than that, do what you want! Anyhow this is what I did. You can't tell much from the picture but all the borders were very shiny silver. I refrigerated the cake until the frosting was hard and then painted the luster dust on mixed with clear vanilla, worked perfectlly

These are cupcakes I saw in the "hello cupcake" book and was wanting to try. So I made them for my kids' school for their yearly Harvest Festival.....last year I painted leaf cookies and they only sold 2 of them at $.25 each!!! So I only made a dozen of these and they sold them for 1.00 each and they were gone in 5 minutes I couldn't believe it!!!!
Anyhow, the leaves are made with milk and white (colored) chocolate and the acorns are caramels with the top dipped in chocolate with choc. brown jimmies

I've done this same design a couple times each one just slightly different (colors, etc.)
This one however I am most proud of because of how long it took me to do. I went out with my bf for her birthday last night and didn't get home until 12:30 a.m. at which point I mixed up the cake batter and put it in the oven, then made mmf and rice krispie treats (for the blocks) torted the cake, filled it, decorated the cake and all the blocks (inc. handpainted hearts with stitching on all 4 sides) all by 3:30 am!

Full sheet cake iced in buttercream. I love all the clothesline cakes on here and have been just dying to do one and I finally got the chance. They wanted a cake with "It's a Boy" written on it and didn't care what else the decoration was. So while it wasn't the typical "Oh Boy" I still was able to make it work!

This is a 6",8",10"(only 2" high instead of 4), and 12" rounds stacked and iced in buttercream with fondant ribbon and gumpaste flowers.
Thank you so much to confectionaryperfection who gave me a website to give to my customer to get the flowers at the VERY last minute. Everyone was happy with the outcome!
