This was for a VERY Irish wedding!! The shamrocks were made of gumpaste and with small dogwood cutters. The fondant was made of pale green color, and dusted with pale green lusterdust. The knot was originally etched on the toasting - Pint glasses (Guiness of course!). I traced over it and piped 4 of them from royal icing and then colored with gold luster dust.

Here is a cake I did for an auction. Bavarian cream filling with some bailey's in it and coffee flavored IMBC (with some regular bc thrown in as I didn't have enough of either, tasted good like this!) Chocolate drizzles.

I wanted to experiment with MMF, so while I was covering the cake board, my 6 yr. old fashioned the leprechan (I did the hair). I really like the MMF. She also rolled and covered the actual cake (6"), attached the buckle and coins. This MMF really is easy to work with. If a 6 yr. old can, I am not afraid to try more complicated projects.

This is a 6" mini carrot cake I made for a teacher that LOVES frogs. The eyes have sugar crystals in the white parts to try to make them look like those wiggly eyes that move.

This one is all MM BC. I free handed the text and shamrocks, used a couple of the designer presses for the swirls on the sides. I got the blue background by cutting the center out of a large piece of wax paper and laid it on top of the cake. Used Wilton's spray blue, and then spray green on the corners of the cake. Thanks for looking!

Nothing special - Just a fun little quick cake I did for my husband's work. Bottom layer is yellow cake, other two layers are chocolate. Chocolate filling and cream cheese frosting on outer layers.

This cake was for a girl who's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day, who is Irish, and is planning a trip to Ireland this summer with her family. My FBCT of the Celtic Knot broke, so I had to improvise last minute.

This was a customer who wanted a big cake for a big party. It is a FULL sheet cake that is 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate cake. It is also torted and filled with chocolate mousse. It is iced in all BC except for the shamrocks which are candy I bought at the cake supply store and the roses are MMF. This is the largest sheet cake that I have ever done, but it was really quite easy and it was fun. My customer loved the cake. She got teary eyed when she saw it!

This cake ws designed around the Irish Trinity Knot. It is a fondant covered cake with a royal icing cake topper in the shape of the Trinity Knot. There are close to 100 gum paste shamrocks and 20 white gum paste roses on this cake. The sides are decorated with Trinity Knot as well. This picture includes a close up of the topper as well as the shamrocks.

This cake was made at the request of a friend for a lady she worked with. She told me that the lady was Irish and very proud of it so I came up with this. The cake is a 10" chocolate cake with buttercream icing. Details were made from fondant with a gumpaste rainbow.

This was for a 50th birthday. The man was a big Notre Dame fan, and I had help from CC in coming up with the caption, "Still fightin' at 50". Mascot is fondant cut to shape and painted with food coloring. And so began the painted fondant obsession...

This was for a friend's surprise 40th. Did a lot of research to get the type style accurate. All buttercream on the outside, the inside was chocolate with mascerated strawberry filling. YUM!

These are cupcakes made for my niece's 1st grade class. They were left by a leprechaun while the kids were out to play. I was just lucky enough to capture a picture of them. Yellow cake dyed green, topped with gummy watermelons with colored icing to make rainbows. All other decor is buttercream.

I made these cookies to practice for an upcoming St. Pat's Day celebration/bake sale at church. I got the vintage postcard pictures online and printed them on edible paper. I was happy with how they turned out, I think I will make the next batch a little bigger so you can see the art better. Thanks for looking!

Just a cake a did for practice for DH to take to work with him. The shamrock on top is done in little rosettes and shell border on bottom (I needed to practice both of these). I did green, orange and white to represent the Irish flag.

It was my first cake so I tried to keep it pretty simple. Just fondant I dyed with color gels. I made the fondant from scratch, it was MM. I had fun doing it, even though it's lumpy. Oh well, I'll remember to level it next time.

The cake is covered in BC and then has miniature shamrock sprinkles on the top and sides. I made the stand up shamrocks with fondant, as well as the Leprechaun's hat. What do you think?

White Almond Sour Cream Cake with Bailey's Irish Cream Filling. Done for a Girls Night Out Party. First time I tried doing a diamond pattern - by hand (will order a mat!) and the first time I tried the curly things and the wire with the RI dots. Very fun to do... learning experience for sure. I had to add the leaves as fillers as it looked so plain,.. and I stuck my finger in the black icing on the edge so I had to cover my mistake... can you find it! Now I just can't wait for the party!!! Enjoy!!

Got an order for a St. Patrick's Day cake for an Irish priest who plays the harp, no leprecauns, pots o' gold or green beer allowed. Tough one, but I loved the end result. Harp is color flow painted in gold luster, shamrocks are royal icing, musical notes are FBCT.

So this was my first FBCT not that bad if i may say so myself. The pattern was pulled from the NHL website, they Birthday boy is IRISH (and proud of it) so i thought it was perfect. We went a little thin on the icing, the cake is Chocolate fudge so his fiance wanted just a touch of icing, Let me know what you think.

This cake was a disaster from day one! Top tier is all chocolate and the rest are half chocolate, half yellow. Icing is buttercream with RI knots and ribbon border. Went to set up the cake at the hall and they weren't ready so it was set up in one place and then they moved it when the cake table was ready :( There are so many things wrong with this cake it would take forever to mention so lets just say it was a learning experience both in the kitchen and out!
