Butter cream with piping and fondant accent. The design was inspired by the wedding invitation. It was for a small wedding but would have worked well for a shower as well.

This was for a friend's father who was turning 75. He did not want a "75" or his name or "Happy Birthday' on the cake. He was not super excited about turning 75. So I came up with using his initials and he loved it.

One of my favorites so far. Flowers were put on by the florist. Bride chose the ribbon and they had designed their own mongram logo - which I hand painted in the colors which matched the ribbon on a piece of fondant and attached to bottom tier. This wedding was gorgeous!!

triple stacked birch logs with chocolate walnuts, acorns, other nuts, and edible rice paper fall leaves scattered on layers Cake was 3 layers of the Pumpkin cake II recipe found on CC (less the walnuts in case of any allergies) with the Dec. cream cheese icing found on CC. Cake was iced smooth, then refrigerated to set up. The bark effect was done using a very fine point paint brush dipped in Dark chocolate "melts" that I thinned out with a touch of veg. oil then painted on.

This was for a groom who is into hunting. It is 7 layers of WASC all 8" round iced in bc with faux pears and leaves. Bride and groom initials carved in the front, but it is hard to see that in this pic. This was a fun one to make, but not a fun one to transport.

This cake was for an engagement party. If you look closely, you can see the couple's initials "carved" into the trunk of the tree. This had special meaning for them.

This cake is all white, with white monogrammed inititials on it, that's what the bride wanted. She brought me a pic, and that's what it ended up as.

This is my favorite wedding cake that I've done so far. It's all buttercream icing, the ribbon is satin and is held on with bouteneirre pins and the groom made the topper. The daisies are real and the stems were covered. Tell me what you think.

12x12 square cake stacked into 4 blocks (I had 1 piece left over). Made to match the decorations. The shoes were freehand, the rattle/bib/bears were made with candy molds. Luster dusted for the pink -white contrast separated by a cord of fondant from the extractor. The letters are the baby's initials.

This was for a bridal shower. The colors were lime green and eggplant. The blossoms on the cake were eggplant but they look black in the picture. I wasn't sure about the colors when I got the order but it actually looked good together. TFL!!

This was for a Valentine's Day wedding. I now hate buttercream! I don't care what anybody says, it does NOT smooth! I can't tell you how many hours I spent trying to get it smooth and it just wouldn't. So, I tried to patch it the best I could. The couple loved it so I guess that's all that matters.
