This was a bold wedding today. Everything was silver and white...with these 3 amazing colours as accents. The gerbera daisy theme was SO pretty!

I used three flavours of cupcakes topped with coloured/flavoured buttercream swirls: Tahitian Vanilla Cupcakes with Bright Orange Vanilla Buttercream, Lemon Cupcakes with Lime Buttercream & Dark Chocolate Cupcakes with Raspberry Pink Buttercream.

The toppers are simple, white gumpaste daisy cutouts.

This was my first "paid cake!" I was so pleased with how it turned out. It's white cake with strawberry cream filling & crusting cream cheese icing. It was for my good friend's little girl's 3 year old princess party - she loved it! I also handmade the topper ("K" for Kelsey, the birthday girl). Thanks for looking!

I made this for someone who wanted to taste my cakes before ordering her wedding cake. It's just a little 6" heart totally thrown together fast since I had several cakes to do today. It's white almond sour cream with raspberry filling, and the pink borders are raspberry too. My husband said it's the best tasting cake I ever made. Yummy!

This was a cake the my Aunt and I did together. She actually had toorder for it, but I baked it, made the icing, the bow, etc. She did the dots onthe top layer, but otherwise it was my cake. I was happy withthe arrangement. It was fun to have someone to talk to while working on it. It was for a bridal shower done with in the lime green and pink. The icing in all BC and the cakes are white and chocolate.

Just a last minute birthday cake for a young lady named Chris. Cakes are 12 inch and 8 inch. I found the topper at the dollar store and printed the sign and glued it on. Nothing special at all. Just a birthday cake.

This is the second cake I made and decorated. It's just a pound cake covered with fondant and fondant accents. I curled a thin floral wire around a wooden spoon and stuck a fondant ball on the end. Pretty pleased with my second try.

I forgot to take a pic of my first cake.

This cake was for a nine year old girl's birthday party. The frosting is raspberry flavored butter cream and the stars are banana flavored MMF (tasted just like a banana Laffy Taffy!) This cake turned out pretty cute, especially considering how quickly it came together. Is it possible that I am finally getting the hang of this cake stuff? :)

Devil's food cupcakes with raspberries and chocolate hearts. I'm still a beginner, but I had fun making these (especially the chocolate cutouts).

I have to thank many if the CCer's for the ideas, photos and instructions. The cake was a 10 x 10 and 6" round Cookies n' Cream and French Vanilla.

Everyone loved the cake and my goddaughter was excited because it was green, her favorite color.

14, 10, 6 round white almond cake w/ Buttercream icing w/fondant accents to match party plates provided by client and feather boa trim to match lime green tablecloth w/pink boa trim. Lots of fun to make; however, it took me too long. 6 hours not including bake time or clean up time. Will I ever get faster at this???!!!

This is my first cake ever. I am proud of it, I think I did good for the first try. It is good for my first time. Vanilla cake with Ganache Mousse filling and MMF. It is my first time making or using MMF. I love it!!!!! You can't really tell, but the bottom is green with pink polka-dots and the top is pink with green polka-dots. My camera isn't doing too good, so the colors didn't come out great.

The Tinkerbell is actually a pen (they have them at the check-out lanes at Wal-Mart). I put floral tape around the lid so it wouldn't come off in the cake. Fondant accents on BC. Fun cake to do!

This was the biggest rush job I have ever done. The mother called at 3:00 to ask if she could pick the cake up at 6:00 that evening instead of the next afternoon! It turned out ok, but I was planning on a lot more detail. Still, she was very happy with it.

This cake was made for a special woman of God who is stating here in NY but lives in Florida, she loves gardening but has been in NY for the past 9 months therefore, her garden has died... so I decided to make her a garden cake. The Scripture of Proverbs 31:30 is inscribed. Yellow cake with vanilla buttercream. In the picture I forgot to clean up the letters they still have sugar on them. Opps! sorry!

Top tier is chocolate with raspberry filling, middle is white with strawberry, bottom is orange butter with cream cheese filling. Hand made fondant/gumpaste rattle, buttons, bow (top and bottom) and baby booties. Pink bow on second tier is modeling chocolate. Was concerned about this one (client seemed overly worried and squirrely), but the she seemed really happy and her husband gave me a $10 tip!! This isn't my design, don't know who's it is, so if it's yours, Thank you!!

This was for an employee who is my subordinate. She has spent a lot of time growing with our company and it was her birthday today. The top of the cake was simple but I was happy with the way it all came out in the end. "Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday dear Genevra..." The sides are cornelli lace, still learning that process but I thought it turned out cute. Vanilla with Ganache center and Cream Cheese frosting.

I know this wasn't done for a bridal shower, but I think it would be really pretty for one. I did this cake in about 4 1/2 hours for easter b/c we found out the night before at about 7pm what time easter was. Long story short ended up not going to easter and took it to work the next day. Got rave reviews on ti too! 6" cake white cake with raspberry filling. Buttercream icing

I copied a picture of a cake that the customer requested. It is strawberry cake with vanilla strawberry mousse. 8, 6, 4 inch tiers, buttercream with fondant accents that have been painted with luster dust. The only LEANED like crazy. You can't see that from this angle, thank goodness!

This cake is a 5 layer yellow with half lemon & half chocolate buttercream filling The cake is iced with buttercream. The ribbon is fondant, and the tea cup and saucer on top is gumpaste. The inspiration came from here. This was my first time ever using gumpaste. It was a joy!
