I did this for a friend's baby shower. I decided to use purple instead of pink (for a girl!) since pink and blue are so traditional! Obviously...if you look at my smoothing and'll see I'm an amatuer. The cradle and stars and moon are done with chocolate. Moon has been brushed with luster dust. Thanks for looking!

This is for a friends baby shower. When I see the photo...I see all the imperfections with the frosting...smoothing, covering, borders...etc....and the sheep don't line up. The cradle and moon and stars are done with chocolate and the moon was brushed with luster dust. Thanks!

DD's Brownie Troop is celebrating the birthday of Juliette Low, founder of the Girl Scouts tomorrow (her b'day is 10/31). Cupcake cake with BCT of the GS emblem. Tomorrow, before i drop it off, I will use black gel to write the words "GIRL SCOUTS" on the bottom of the BCT. I'm afraid if I do it now, it will run!!

For my little girl's 1st birthday back in September. Bottom, top layers & smash cake - Key Lime cake with Cream Cheese-Key Lime buttercream filling...middle layer - French Vanilla cake with Cream Cheese-Strawberry buttercream filling. All are frosted with Cream Cheese Buttercream. The desired effect was that the inside was pink & green just like the outside of the cake. Flowers & initial topper are fondant, grass and stems of flowers are buttercream. The cake matched her dress...this was so much fun!!

This cake was one of the most stressful endeavors I have undertaken in a long time! A close friend asked me to make her daughter's first birthday cake. A 12" chocolate cake with white chocolate icing. I've never made a 12" cake nor made white chocolate icing. Anything that could go wrong, did go wrong! But in the end my friend loved the cake and her guests raved about it. I have to send a quick thanks to blittle6 for her white chocolate crusting BC recipe!

This one was for my daughter's 1st birthday. Didn't come out exactly like i wanted it to but It was still a hit. I think the decorators are harder on themselves then the people we make them for. HAHAHA
