This kind of goes along with the pumpkin cookie. This one turned out better than the other ones. I've never had to do a mouth, so I'll really have to practice.

The Wilton "Haunted Pumpkin" pan was the inspiration for this sheet cake covered in buttercream frosting. I couldnt find the pan so I decided to just draw it on the cake.

The last of my halloween cookies. I had a bunch of royal icing to use up so made some more cookies. Tried my new frog cookie cutters and decided to make a pumpkin frog. I stole the idea for the pumpkins from someone here.

This was a lot of fun to make. The ghost has chocolate cake and butter cake with strawberry jam as a filling such that when it was cut into, it looked like it was bleeding. The spiders were chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting. I cheated on the pumpkins, those were the pre-fab marshmallow pumpkins. I would have make pumpking cookies, but I ran out of time.

These are my first decorated cookies, ever. I used the No-Fail recipe from and royal icing for decorated cookies from antonia74. Both recipes rock! Getting the consistency of the icing right was a little tricky however I had a lot of fun making these.

This cake was made for my cousins halloween/birthday party. It is a vanilla cake with chocolate pastry cream and covered in vanilla buttercream. I airbrushed the color onto the cake and made the letters with royal icing ahead of time. The cauldron is made of cake and then covered in black fondant and dusted with petal dusts for the old look. The green goo is colored piping gel and the eyeballs, bones, ghosts, cat and pumpkins are made of fondant or gumpaste.

This was for my cousins Halloween/Birthday Party. It is chocolate cake with chocolate pastry cream and chocolate buttercream. I airbrushed darker brown over the icing. The letters were done ahead of time with Royal Icing. The fingers are aluminum foil wrapped in gumpaste strips. The ghosts, RIPs, bones, and eyeballs are gumpaste or fondant.

I made mini cakes for my coworkers for Halloween. These are 4" rounds, butter cake, 1 layer, torted and filled with pumpkin butter. Buttercream icing covered in fondant. Some turned out better than others. I think this was my 4th time working with fondant.

This was really simple. This was for a customer whose son has an egg allergy. So the cake is an eggless, butterless, milkless recipe and the buttercream doesn't have the meringue in it. The details are fondant.

I made this for my friend's Halloween party. I have never made anything this big before, and had the time of my life making it. I almost couldn't bear to watch them cut into it.

Inspired by Martha Stewart's cupcakes. Had to modify the icing to white chocolate to accommodate the deep south's humidity. For extra thrills for the first graders, the ghosts resided in a black cake box with broken shutters.

I made this cake for a 4-yr old who loves Scooby Doo and everything scary! It's made of 4- 9' square cakes stacked, royal windows, doors and roof and chocolate fences! We had a slight problem transporting this cake~ but everyone thought the house was crooked on purpose!

Cake is yellow cake with MM fondant. The Ghost is styrofoam covered with fondant. If I were to do it again I would do the ghost with Rice Krispies and fondant. I modeled the car somewhat after the Babar car cake in Debbie Brown's Character cake book. Of course I had to make it more race carish. This is my first carved cake. Made for my BIL. He loved it.
