This was made for a lady that was going to move to New York. It was given by her best friend as a sign of their friendship, progress and light of life.

This was for an 11 year old girl having a sleepover for her birthday. The bodies are cut twinkies and the heads are fondant. Everyone has a different look and hair and eye color. She loved it!

This is one of the cakes from this weekend. I really appreciate all of the ideas from this board and Ward's emails!! My customer wanted all IMBC and the blue wept - ugh! I had to disguise the best that I could, so not my best work unfortunatly! My customer seemed to like it and that's really what counts. Thanks for looking!

Mini cake, 3.75" x 3.75". All BC. Made for a friend who has been really supportive of my constant talk of cake decorating :) The cake did not come out as I'd intended but I hope she will like it. I used the pinprick method for the letters and it worked pretty well. The flowers are meant to be sunflowers. Thanks for looking!

Two layers, one side chocolate, one side white, iced with buttercream, covered with fondant and all decorations fondant. It didn't dawn on me 'til I was rolling out the fondant what a challenge it would be to get that big of a piece transferred to the cake - yikes!

I made this for a friend for her son's birthday party. I used Wilton's thomas and friends cake pan, buttercream icing and MMF for the face and some of the details.

These are actually decorated Twinkies (per the customers request). Her son LOVES Sponge Bob and Twinkies and she wanted to incorporate both. All butter cream icing. The son took them to school for his birthday - I feel really bad for the teacher, talk about a sugar high!

Thanks for looking!

This is a birthday cake for my brother (he's 32). Bloo is from Foster's home for Imaginary Friends (like my Eduardo cake). He is 4 6" cakes (chocolate and vanilla alternating) with a 1/2 sport ball top. Filled with strawberry bettercreme filling. He's covered in MMF, with MMF accents. I think he turned out pretty good. Hope he holds up until tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

This cake has writing all around. It says to love, to care, to trust, to share, to laugh, and to live. I was inspried by another cake on this website to do the colors and the flowers. I think that the color are a beautiful combo. Oh yeah, and I messed up the writing on the top at first (was trying to write on the blue icing), so I just threw on some MMF and wrote on that. It actually looks better that way so I guess you do learn from your mistakes huh.

This is a cake that I did for my nephew for his 6th birthday. The house and characters are from the Cartoon Network show "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" - his favorite show. The cake is a sheet cake with a carved 3 layer "hill" in the back, all covered with buttercream icing. The house is made from colorflow and it was the first time that I ever used it. The characters are pictures I found online and then laminated and glued to toothpicks. Enjoy!

This was for my extra special friend/ cake helper who is moving far away in a few weeks. The gold writing on the cake is "friend" in many languages.

An early attempt. This was a birthday cake based on a 7 Dwarves cake I had made for a 7th birthday. It had my daughter and her friends all tucked up in one big bed!
