Cake covered with fondant. Orchides and leaves are made from gum paste. As the couple has got a dog, a cat and expecting a baby, all 3 "footprints" are on the cake, piped with royal icing. The cake board is covered in fondant in a wood design.Pearls are dust with "snowflake" luster dust.

This was the cake from hell. Anything that could have gone wrong did - see my post about it for details! Bottom layer chocolate w/ chocolate SMBC, top 2 tiers are french vanilla w/ vanilla SMBC & fondant accents.
The middle tier was inspired by Boween's footprint cakes.

This isn't the best most clearest pic of the cake, but the theme was footprints and they wanted the baby's sonogram pic on the cake. They also love soccer so I added soccer balls to the corners. They loved it.

I really liked this cake, till I put the footprints on it! ...but that's what she wanted! It was for a baby shower for a couple who up till this point, only had one baby - a (very spoiled dog). So client wanted doggie footprints, with the "new baby" footprints. 10" and 7" choc fudge cake w/ fondant.

i made this cake for my bestfriend who loves the beach for his 16 birthday. he loved the cake so much and acually never ate it,he kept it in his fridge for a month until his mom made him throw it out! The cake has seashells, slippers, a crab, a starfish, a set of footprints. the sand is a mixture of sugar and brown sugar. To make the waves i frosted the blue then came in with white frosting on a toothpick to blend it in. For the coral reef i just piped along the bottom of the ocean with 3 different tips.

Baby shower with Princess theme- but they insisted on the foot prints and they chose the saying- I didn't think it was a good match, but they loved the cake! Lots of little flowers- some I just sort of made up as I went along. Pink boa lined the cake board for that added girly touch!

ANOTHER generic baby shower theme... for a boy. Invite had all sorts of little baby things on it, but nothing that really stood out. Went with the little footprints and made matching cookies. IMBC and Satin Ice decorations.
