Florida State Seminole cake. This was extremely hard for me. I am not skilled at drawing or any such thing but a friend asked for this cake so I gave it the ole "college try" ( no pun intended). I was actually pleased at how well it turned out!

This cake was made for a groom's "honeydew" party. All of his friends are LSU fans and he is the only Florida Fan so we thought it would be fun to have the two mascots together. Cake iced in buttercream, with hand molded fondx figures and car covered in fondx. Fondx boulders, icing image plaques, chocolate alligators. Not sure if it is clear in picture but the gator is actually dragging the tiger with a chain connected to the back of the convertible.

As a loyal Georgia fan, it was very hard to make this cake (kidding). Gator is a chocolate transfer, and strawberries are striped in orange and blue chocolate. Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, and ganache on top.

The body is yellow cake with a almond BC filling. The head, arms, legs and tail are all RKT covered in BC then in Fondant. I had less than 24hours to make him and this was his 3rd head so while I would change A LOT of things (like the mouth, sleeves and legs) I am without a doubt happy about the results. The dowel was removed after transportation.

I must give LaJuana a million thanks for her help and her inspiration.

A friend wanted an all chocolate cake with Florida-inspired decorations. I was at a loss, so sculpted a little beach scene (polymer clay) and did just the borders and icing with frosting. Shells are chocolate.

I made this cake for my mom who was having a retirement/bon voage party. She moved to Florida and so I got some ideas from other CCers around palm trees and the like. It actually looked much better than this, but unfortunately the dumb men who carried the cake from the car to the venue, mishandled it, and it actually began to crack on the bottom layer:(. We had to turn it to the back and make some quick adjustments so the guest wouldn't notice. I knew I should have taken it in myself, lesson learned!

This cake turned out way better than I had ever hoped! Definitely better than the brides cake that went with it. This one is cut to shape chocolate cake with whipped choc. ganache filling and buttercream icing. I used the letter cut outs with the fondant to write the bride's sentiment to her groom - "I love you more than Gator football".

Made this for an agent that worked for the State of Florida for his retirement. He loves the Blue Angels. So I thought have the jets flying over Florida was a cute idea.

This was done for University of Florida fans. The tail and nose are rice
krispy treats. It is all fondant. This was a challenge to get the shape. The credit for inspiration goes to tuggy and her gator cake and many others
who have done one .

bottom is two 11x15's put together with a 9x13 on top. Gator is FBCT. I was really pleased with how it turned out, it was for my husband's commander. His wife LOVED it. The cake was so big, and my counters were so small that I had to decorate it on my coffee table!!! All butter cream...half chocolate, half yellow cake on the bottom. TFL. :)

I made this cake for my boss' birthday. He's a big Gator fan. The cake is dark chocolate sour cream cake with white chocolate buttercream decorated in UF colors. I drew the gator on using a toothpick, and then filled in the colors. Hopefully he will like it at his surprise birthday gathering tomorrow at school.

These cakes were made for my boss who is a University of Florida Gator football team fan. The gator is made out of a butter sour cream cake with chocolate flavored buttercream. My boss just loved this cake. I need to make a cake for all of the FSU fans. LOL!! Oh, I forgot to add that he just ate a FSU football player that accounts for the pieces of fabric and the football.

The bride and groom were having a Florida Gator themed wedding and wanted orange and blue flowers. The finished product has hearts on it but I also liked the plain one so I took a photo of it to upload as well.
