This was my first cake for a paying customer. It was for a 8 year old boys party. It is 1/2 sheet cake and I used a loaf pan to make the football (trimmed to size).

This was a fun cake and really easy. I was told later at the party that I put the goal posts on backwards... oh well... I don't like football! :o)

Full sheet chocolate cake filled wilth Grand Marnier Italian meringue chocolate "buttercream" Pretzel and modeling paste columns on a fondant field with fondant and rice paper over graham cracker scoreboard. My boyfriend and I made this in a dorm kitchen at college the day before the Super Bowl on a whim, so it's not my best work. I used yellow pipe cleaners for the goal posts.

This is the 2nd one of these I've made. I've found that I have lots more fun creating the first one than when I have to do a repeat cake. I need to work on this.

This was a fun fetti cake with buttercream and choc. buttercream. The logo on this one gave me a fit! :0)

Another one of my buttercream paintings. Inspired by some pictures of lavender fields I saw at the art festival in Ft Worth. I was in the mood to paint and I needed to try out a new caramel cake recipe. It is now my favorite painting. I may have to paint this one with acrylics.

This is for my husband, the passionate Track and Cross Country coach. Devil's Food cake with Chocolate Buttercream. My very first attempt at a chocolate transfer for the track.(Thank you so much for the help Squirrelly Cakes!) Fondant grass, numbers and ribbon. Chocolate medal sprinkled with gold shimmer dust which I had never used before and could use some instruction. (I actually used the makeup compact mold-last minute idea) A very fun surprise for him!

VERY based on the amazing double football helmet cake by the member Djjarrett88. Thanks for the inspiration!

I had never used a ball pan or iced using a star tip before, but it was fun!

This one was for a customer that wanted two cakes in one for a double birthday party. Tried my best for a baseball field for her son and a heart for her sister.

Double layer, half white, half choc. Soccer ball is Duncan Hines yellow cake mix with reduced oil for a firmer texture. (Everyone said this was the best yellow cake they had ever eaten.) All buttercream icing. The soccerball is by far the most difficult cake I've done. I was pleased with the outcome though.

The Mom found a cake at trulyspecialcakes.com and asked me to do something similar for her 2 kids. I tried to make each of them a little different. Thanks for looking! Oh, the soccer balls are those little sugar candies you can buy at the grocery store.

This is a 12" square cake with BC. It was completed before I ever saw this site (as are most of my posted cakes to date). The date on the pic. is wrong, should be 6-10-06. I am starting to become comfident to actually write on the cake, but I used those pre-made letters here. ugh. Well, it tasted great anyway! Thanks for looking.

This is the cake I made for my nephew's football auction. I was thrilled at the way it came out. I found out the next day that it sold at auction for $225!!! The star and cowboys logos are FBCT's. At the site, the goal posts and players were added.

This was a FBCT to match napkins from the party. I love FBCTs now that I tried them. So easy--just do the basics, add the detail after placing, and voila! Insta-cake!

I am donating this cake to my dd's school for the annual fall festival auction. It is football time in TN, so I thought it would be a good seller!!
11x15 with the football pan. Both yellow cakes with buttercream icing. I am actually quite happy with this cake, and DH had a fit over it which makes me feel even better!!!

This is what the customer ordered...hmmm...white cake with french vanilla mousse filling on 1/2 sheet covered in BC, ball is yellow cake with french vanilla mousse covered in BC, and bat is single layer chocolate. Candies on outside are poured milk chocolate molds. I don't care for this but she drew it and I made it.
