I made this cake for a family reunion. I made it with one hand, had surgery on my left hand and it is still in brace!!!

Two 9X13 chocolate sour cream cakes stacked and iced with chocolate sour cream icing. Names and banners are fondant. I made this for my mum-in-law as she is really into geneology. She loved the 'apple doesn't fall far from the tree' idea too!

This is a 14" round with a football cake on top for Stewie's head. It's hard to see from above, but there's no top border. I wanted to put one but I ran out of room. The bottom border is a black shell border.

Some of the faces on this cake represent people in Bryon's family. The one with long black hair and bald on top is my husband! Had fun with this.

This cake was a nightmare..>Stewy is a BCT, he broke in 3 places and the cake had to be iced in whip cream b/c some of the guests are sensitive to buttercream..so this is it...whatever, as long as she's happy...and the big space there is so she could put her little "family guy" toys

8 inch rounds layered with chocolate filling, iced with white buttercream. Stewie was my very first try at FBCT, I was so proud when I peeled off the paper! My freehand writing as you can tell still needs some work!

Here's the cake my sil and I worked on together. Marbled fondant with fondant and royal icing accents. A lot of fun and everyone enjoyed trying to find their face! Cake was dark chocolate fudge with dark chocolate ganache covering and filling under the fondant.

Fondant figurines inspired by the Willow-Tree figurine my kids gave me for Mothers Day this year. The best present I got for mothers day was a big hug from my kids so this cake is what my Mothers Day looked like!

Made this cake for my parents ... they both turned 60 last year ... this is them and their grandkids. The horse on the table is a replica of one I've got in my window - ever since my dad saw it he's been saying how much he like it. Couldn't get him a real one so I had to do a fondant one :)

This is a cake I made for my co-worker. This is a 1/2 sheet with half dark chocolate and french vanilla cakes, torted with dark chocolate mousse and white chocolate mousse, respectively. Decorated with my mom's old all-butter buttercream frosting recipe. The duck family are just an assortment of rubber ducks I bought to represent the family. It was a big hit and fun to make.

I made this "family tree cake" for a teacher's retirement. It's iced in buttercream, with fondant leaves which were signed by all the staff members. The bird in the corner represents our teacher who is 'flying away from her family'.

I got this idea from looking around CC and on the Wilton site...the cupcakes have MMF faces with bc details and leaves, the trunk is choc. fondant and the banner is fondant with bc writing. Made for a family "picnic" reunion! Sorry I don't have a better pic....they all came out kinda fuzzy for some reason.

Lots of ideas from here on CC for this cake. Made for my husband's family reunion. The eight apples on the tree represent each brother and sister. Had a lot of fun doing this cake. 11x15 sheet cake with all buttercream icing. This family reunion sign is out of fondant.

Two layers, one side chocolate, one side white, iced with buttercream, covered with fondant and all decorations fondant. It didn't dawn on me 'til I was rolling out the fondant what a challenge it would be to get that big of a piece transferred to the cake - yikes!

This was my husband's birthday cake from yesterday. We are huge Family Guy fans and Stewie is his favorite! All of the face/body accents are made with fondant. The cakes themselves were Swedish butter cake with blackberry Italian meringue buttercream filling and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream frosting under the fondant. He was SO much fun to make!! Wanted to do him in 3D but the trip to the restaurant would have been too much for him to survive with that giant football head! Enjoy!

Used chocolate icing to make the trunk and the stems. Added the small sugar cookie hearts with green sprinkles upside down for the leaves. It was a hit!
