Done for a co-workers son's 1st communion. He asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate (buttercream) icing with a smiley face that said "Happy Communion" and that's what he got!

This was a special request for a tye dyed smiley face cake. My niece loved it and the cute candles that I found to match it! This is my first attempt at a tye dye effect.

This was my first time using my projection machine. I projected a picture of a horse head onto my cake and filled it in. I topped the cake off with violet flowers made from royal icing. This was a little girl's birthday cake that loved horses.

This little "smash" cake was in addition to the big Jo Jo's Circus cake I did. When I told her grandma that I was going to make a smash cup cake for the little girl and they had no idea it was going to look like this! They loved it:)

Candy melts smiley face and letters. Made smiley face by pouring candy on a dessert plate covered with either plastic wrap or wax paper? one of those...my quick solution to get round shape...knew it was risky. It cracked when removed which is why balloon strand is covering part of face.

The inside of this cake is tie-dye also! The smiley on top is a rice krispie treat. The tie-dye patterns are icing transfers. This cake was so fun to make!!!

Made these cookies just to use up my icing and cookie dough. They came out so cute that I sent them in to school with my Kindergartener for the teaching staff at their weekly meeting.

This cake was done by my mom and I. She iced the cake and I made the roses and vines. We both did the faces on the smaller cake. Yellow cake with BC frosting.

This is a close up of the faces. They are fondant baked in the oven to make them hard and then detailed with both fondant and royal icing.

I did these for my son's Pre-K graduation party. The faces are white candy melts with a hint of copper color and food writer facial features. The rest is buttercream.

Carved 9X13 chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate buttercream, iced in buttercream with fondant accents. Idea taken for the nickjr.com website. This one was for twin boys whose favourtie colour is pink so that's why Dora is so 'rosy' looking!

White chocolate face and nail accessories. Fondant head wrap, cucumbers, lips and flowers on a buttercream frosted 1/4 sheet cake. Face was molded on plastic mask I bought at a craft store. Inspired by Florimbio and tastycakes' versions.

Made for 13 year old who loves KISS the band. I wanted to incorporate the long tongue, but I didn't get a chance to. The back top Smile and shirt is a cookie kabob. It was very hard to make those on a stick together!
