This was an extremely forgiving cake. I used a bundt pan and baked an extra cupcake to place in the center to create the "nest". Fondant for the dinosaur, the egg, and a few leaves... Chocolate "rocks" all around the "ground". My son had it in his head he wanted a dinosaur egg cake, and by golly, he got it!

The other half of this cake fell apart when I took it out of the pan so it ended up being a half an egg.

Just wanted to do a practice cake. This cake was huge, 2 layers of chocolate cake, 2 layers of white cake, cookies and cream filling and whipped cream buttercream icing. It was 6 inches tall!!! Decorated with asstd Easter candy. It was fun to make, that whipped cream buttercream is a dream to work with and tastes great.

This is my take on the Debbie Brown tree stump. I made it into an Easter cake by adding lots of little tiny easter eggs all around the cake. I also put in an easter lamb! I also added a little fairy!

Here's a cake I made for a pre-Easter egg hunt party my daughter attended. First - I MUST thank Ladycake as it was her original cake that I copied. The hostess of the party could not beleive how pretty this cake was. I couldn't beleive how simple it was. I did a reverse marble cake with BC icing - dyed coconut and put milk chocolate eggs on top. Thanks Cheryl for helping me downsize the file so I could post. Everyone here is just so helpful and willing to share. I love this site and all involved.

I did this cake for our monthly birthdays in the office. I forgot to take a picture at home, so by the time I got it to the office I had smashed a part of the basketweave. The handle is fondant and the eggs in the basket, I used the mini egg pan.

Devils food cake with bc. Marshmallow eggs and jellybeans. The handle is made out of colored pipe cleaner. The bunny I picked up at the local grocery for $1.00. I made this cake for a friends class she teaches at church. This is my first basketweave and roping.

I had a large order of Easter theme cookies for the staff of a local hospital. These were just a few after packaging them all up. I think I may expand into doing more decorated cookies and different bouquets. They look so nice all done up.

Bunny is 3D bear, modified....egg is 3D egg cut in half... chick is cake scraps and bunny feet are cut mini balls. Had trouble doing the ears right. Anyway base is not is styrofoam and cake boards, wrapped and ribboned, and iced on top. Then dowels hold the cakes down to the board underneath. White spots are the sparkle dust I sprinkled on it at the end.
