I had a request for a fun pink and black cake for a bridal shower. I've been wanting to do one of these cakes for a long time. First attempt at making a fondant bow. It was really humid so I had a hard time getting it to dry hard. Iced in buttercream with MMF accents. Thanks for looking!

I made this cake for a young woman's sweet 16 birthday party. Her only request was that the cake have the colors blue, pink, and green and that it incorporated polka dots, stripes, and swirls.
The bottom tier was chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing, the middle tier was french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filing and icing, and the top tier was french vanilla cake with blueberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing. The polka dots and stripes were made from fondant.

Everything is made of fondant (which gave me a really hard time, but I'm proud of the finished product all the same).

This was my not topsy turvy version of a doodlebops themed cake that a girl emailed me to "copy". I don't know where she got the original pic, so I can't give them credit for the original idea. It was a 4,6,8 inch cake. Chocolate w/buttercream and fondant accents. Thanks for looking!

This was my 2nd cake ever! I made a fishbowl cake from Women's Day magazine last year and have been itching to do another, more "professional", cake. I got the recipe from a friend of a friend who is in the business. It is an almond sour cream cake with crusting buttercream icing and satin ice fondant accents. I got lots of inspiration, tips and ideas from this great website and plan on doing more cakes since I'm now hooked! Thanks for looking!

I donated this cake to a non-profit org in NYC. It's a 14" round as the base, 8" square middle, and 6" round as the top. It's my first tiered cake so any feedback would be great!

I am not 100% happy with this cake... I pictured it much better in my head! :) Anyway... it is for a co-worker who's only request was "fall colors" and didn't want the traditional flowers. It is all buttercream & the cake is 2 layers strawberry & vanilla w/ a strawberry/vanilla swirled filling. Thanks....
