This cake was for a couple who tied the knot in Vegas! The dice are cake, covered in fondant. All decorations are gumpaste, including the rings. The lettering is royal icing, painted with gold lusterdust. The signs are gumpaste - the welcome to vegas sign was printed on edible paper and put on gumpaste backing.

Made for a Bunco party that was celebrating two birthdays. I used an 8x12 pan and junior mints for the dots. It's a good idea to decorate one before adding another to the plate, for as you can see, I could not get between them to finish the trim! :)

Made these to go along with my other vegas dice cake. Suits are MMF, dice are sugar cubes. I made the dots on the cubes with "food writers".

I made this for a friend who just graduated with a Masters Degree. His wife wanted to include photos from childhood to cuirrent day as well as incorporate the theme (Poker) into the cake. This is what we came up with. Top layer is white cake with strawberry filling and BC icing. Bottom layer is chocolate with strawberry filling and BC. Poker decorations are chocolate made from molds.

Chocolate 1/4 sheet. Just a pretty quick simple cake, didn't have alot of time. I do wish now that I would have iced in green instead of blue, but it was for one of my sons and he likes blue, sooo.

My first attempt at petit fours for a bunco party. Brown = Covered and filled w/chocolate ganache, White = Covered w/ poured fondant and filled w/raspberry buttercream. Would have been much easier without the filling but it tastes so good! Royal icing dots. I discovered I liked pouring the ganache better than the fondant - did an awful job covering with the fondant. These got pretty messy because I had to keep taking them in and out of fridge (Texas heat)!

Cake we made for my wife’s mother’s Bunko night. Side dice are layered cakes. Top die is a dummy form. All are covered in white fondant with black fondant inlays. “BUNKO” letters are made of red “candy melts” covered in red sugar. (Please excuse the messy countertop.)

Decorated in RI. I made these for a wedding with a gambling theme. The bride told me what cookies she wanted. I would have loved to have made a slot machine, still haven't (yet).
