The cake flavors are strawberry & white swirl. It is covered in White Chocolate Clay tinted blue using the colors (Delphinium Blue, Cornflower Blue, Sky Blue and Violet). The piping is RI. The bride had a monogram made for their wedding invitations and various other things. I made the Damask pattern on the cake to match their monogram. I was so pleased when the bride took a bite of the cake and gave it a "thumbs up" :o)

Chocolate Fudge cake w/ buttercream icing. A lot w/ this cake. First square cake & it fell in the middle (after using the towel method to level it :( ) so there was a lot of icing in the middle & I didn't have enough on the corners. Chocolate transfers for the damask & 16. At least the girl was pleased & it wasn't a paid cake. And good practice.

This is a 6" square cake with fondant panels (learned from Sharon's class!) and a damask stencil, which is actually harder to use than I thought it would be. Thanks for looking.

This was the first time I set up on site ( nervous). I've never had more than three tiers before. So I always stacked the teirs at home. 6" 8" 10" & 12" tiers with four 8" . Dark chocolate fudge with raspberry filling and dark chocolate fudge with bc filling, white chocolate with whipped cream filling and banana cream with bc filling. Black damask tranfer icing sheets with teal fondant ribbon. The bride wanted the cake to have the same damask design and teal ribbon stripe to match her invitations.

I really, highly, truly do NOT recommend that brides make their own wedding cake!!!!! But I did. With this one: top tier was real (white cake with vanilla buttercream & vanilla fondant). I also made sheet cakes of banana cake with chocolate ganache. WHEW I'm glad it's done with & I'm now a married woman! LOL! TFL!

The bride gave me a stencil to use..but it didn't work, it was too thin and kept sticking to the I had to hand paint the design as well as I could to match the stencil.

Fondant covered with royal icing decorations. Ribbon trim. Birthday cake for 2 young ladies who wanted half chocolate frosting, half white chocolate. So I used the fondant to unify the design.

Matching the cake to the invitation is usually not hard. Unless the bride wants the damask pattern used. The pattern was hand painted ont he bottom tier, stripes and dots in fondant. The pearl pins holding the ribbon on helped give the cake the over all look of a hat box.

Birthday cake for a friend. She requested a pretty hatbox. White fondant, black royal icing stencil on the sides with red gum paste roses. First time doing stenciling and making gum paste flowers. I used tonedna's videos on you tube to teach myself to make the roses. The videos were wonderful and so helpful! Constructive feedback is appreciated. I Thanks for looking.

This cake was for my friend's "BLING" birthday party. The damask wasn't planned out very well, so I improvised and 'tried' to pipe out a pattern in royal icing. Everything else is MMF. And lots of diamonds!
