The bottom two tiers are vanilla sponge with custard and fresh strawberries and the top two tiers are a rich chocolate cake with whipped cream. All flower-shaped tiers are covered in HPT ( a stabilized whipped cream) and airbrushed for the outside color. The daisys are handmade of gumpaste and the centers for the daisys were made seperate, airbrushed, and then glued onto the flowers. The letters are pre-piped royal icing that I stood up in the cake for easier visibility.

First I piped on a swirl of lime green buttercream, then piped on the daisy's white petals with my leaf tip. The middles were about a dozen little yellow dots in a cluster.

I made this cake for a coworker. The bride and groom met via internet dating service. They had a country wedding theme. The border and lasso is fondant. Candy melts for the bells and royal icing daisies. Devil's Food cake with Wilton's extra special buttercream icing.

A take off of the five tier featured in Martha Stewart. Light green fondant ( sprinkled with sugar) is on the tops of the cakes while textured white fondant is on the sides. Gum paste daisies and yellow satin ribbon complete the spring design.

This was a cake done for a wedding shower for two couples. I was told I could do whatever I wanted so I choose to do something similar to one of the cakes in the new Wilton Yearbook.

This is a three-layer cake I made for a co-worker who was leaving for another job. It was a huge hit at the office. This is cake number two for me and I can't wait to do more - I had no idea this was so much fun!

Thanks for looking!

This is my favorite cake yet! I was thinking about doing a cake covered in daisies and it's all I had hoped it would be. It took a long time to make the daisies - my sister and I sat at the kitchen table with coffee and rolled fondant for hours!

This is a three layer cake (french vanilla, pistachio, french vanilla) with peppermint buttercream icing and rolled fondant (daisies).

Thanks for looking!

I made this cake for a staff party we attended this weekend. It was a barbeque and really didn't call for a four-tier cake but I couldn't resist the opportunity to make another cake!

I used the MMF recipe I found in the article section of Cake Central - it is soooo easy to make and work with. I will never buy fondant again! The cake was Betty Crocker's Rainbow mix, modified to make it dense and moist (and yummy! lol..). The icing is buttercream and MMF, both flavored with peppermint.

I have decided to start naming my cakes after the people they are made for, so meet Leighanne. :)

This is a confetti cake with cherry icing and fondant flowers. I am frustrated with the tiny holes in my buttercream - I smoothed with parchment paper but I'm just not sure what's causing the bubbles/holes. Maybe I'll post on the forum with pics for some great advice...

Thanks for looking!

I made this for my 17 year old niece's birthday. She told me she wanted something really I gave it my best shot. I made it with MMF and used the leaf cutout form to make the daisy petels. I got the marbled look by not mixing the color all the way before rolling out the fondant.

This was a bold wedding today. Everything was silver and white...with these 3 amazing colours as accents. The gerbera daisy theme was SO pretty!

I used three flavours of cupcakes topped with coloured/flavoured buttercream swirls: Tahitian Vanilla Cupcakes with Bright Orange Vanilla Buttercream, Lemon Cupcakes with Lime Buttercream & Dark Chocolate Cupcakes with Raspberry Pink Buttercream.

The toppers are simple, white gumpaste daisy cutouts.

This was a last minute cake I did for our realtor for being so nice to us. It turned out darker than I wanted. You know how buttercream can do sometimes.
