First try at frozen buttercream transfer. Didn't turn out too bad, which the Cubs' season turned out as well as the cake! haha

This is a Chicago Cubby Bear cake I made for my dad's birthday, but could be used for fathers day as well. I also decorated the back with our last name and his "jersey number".

all buttercream, made for a cubs fan (obviously). I however had to ask if the cubs are baseball or football so I would know which album to upload it in.

Made for a friend of mine who likes to bowl, golf and likes the Cubs. He had a little "incident" with a substance while he was overseas so I had to put the weed and the stogie.

Wasn't at all satisfied with this cake and I wanted to smooth out the sides but hubby was already trying to take it from me to deliver to someone at work. I was barely able to get a pic of it. It was my first time making a cap and my second time using MMF. At least I know now that the next time will be so much easier.

This was done for a die-hard Cubs fan and a die-hard Sox fan. I put their ages on the scoreboard to correspond with the team they love (Cubs score 52-her age and White Sox score was only 26-his age). It was a huge hit!

Made this cake for a birthday party. Used a picture from the internet to get the idea of making the cake in the shape of a baseball with the Cubs logo on the cake.

I made this cake for our retired pastor. Obviously, he's a big Chicago Cubs fan. I had to make this cake at the same time as my son's christening cake, so it's not perfect. I was really exhausted after doing both cakes. I used marshmallow fondant. The baseball stiching is buttercream icing.

My son's cub scout leader asked me to make a cake for my son and another boy's birthday so they could celebrate at cubs. I decided to make a sheet cake and put various cub badges on it. The cake is frosted with chocolate buttercream and the badges are buttercream as well.

I did this cake for my son's scout group. They were doing a cake auction. I thought this was a great idea since they just had their pinewood derby! This is the first time I've had to "shape" a cake. I've only been working with MMF for about a week and still need to figure out how to make it more smooth! I'm happy nonetheless!!

I did this cake for my CUBS-obsessed bf's birthday. It was my first time attempting to use fondant as well as multi tiers. I had a little trouble with the larger cake bulging at the seam, but other than that I'm reallyh happy with the way it turned out. Cake is chocolate and buttercream, and topper is fondant and royal icing. Thanks for looking!

Last Friday the boys moved on to their next ranks. I made this cake to honor that and to show some of the things we did throught the year. There was a pretzel bridge that went from the main cake to a cake with a boy scouts emblem on it, but I and the DH forgot to take pics...whoops. Buttercream frosting, wafer images and candy clay extras.

This was the first time I attempted to do a FBCT - I had 5 to do! I was really happy with the outcome. One cake is WASC made w/white chocolate raspberry creamer and two chocolate cakes. All buttercream frosting.

Close-up of a 3-sheetcake order. Cub Scout emblems are all FBCTs. Cake is chocolate with BC frosting. I had a perfect, straight border incorporated with each FBCT but I didn't measure correctly and they didn't fit as pictured so I had to cut them down and then added a star border. Ugh. Next time I'll plan better.

I did this for a friend's birthday. I put the Cubs logo on a round 2 layer cake. Then I put blue pinstripes down the sides and grass around the base.
