Wedding cake I made for this past weekend. Plain, simple, easy, elegant. Buttercream on the outside - the inside was white velvet cake with hazelnut. This pic is without the bride's antique cake toppers though...

The worst was transporting a buttercream cake in this unreal humidity!

Chocolate and white chocolate vanilla 6 and 9 in pan with fondant accents. My first attempt at pooh, he's a little fat, but my friend loved the cake. It's nice sometimes to go to the events you make the cakes for. I often wonder if the cake is really good....it was amazing!!

I made this cake for my niece's shower. I made the figures from marzipan which was lots of fun -- like being a kid with modeling clay! The bassinet, rug and blanket are fondant and the cake is covered with chocolate buttercream. This was a lot of fun to make.

This was my first attempt at a "themed" cake using marshmallow fondant. It's not my best cake, but it was fun, and the kids loved it. I didn't get to get a pictur til after I got it to the party and little fingers had poked at it. Oh well. It ws destroyed in a matter of minutes. Inside was my most requested chocolate chip cake with raspberry sauce, fresh raspberries and a white chocolate cream cheese frosting.

This was a last minute request by my sister-in-law for her work party. I didn't have much time so it's an all-white crusting cream cheese cake that I only used two tips on: tip 95 for the borders and the diamond/square shaped tip for all of the other details.

four tiered wedding cake; covered with fondant; each tier was decorated with white fondant roses and leaves, all connected with royal icing; between the tieres are cake dummies, acting as support and also to hold the flowers (white, pink & red silk roses). There is a small white butterfly 'fluttering' & peeking out from between the flowers at each tier. I was also a guestat this wedding & the mother of the bride come over to thank me personally for the beautiful & elegant cake.

Rose and Swags, 50th Anniversary Cake. Mahogany chocolate and vanilla whipped cream cake. Filling is raspberry butter cream and coverature is raspberry flavored white chocolate fondant. There was also an ornate number 50 created in gold to go on top, but the cake had to travel 100 miles to its venue so I packed it separately.

It peeled off badly, but I was able to patch it up enough to serve it. I used corn syrup in my BC to get a shiny gloss for the car, but it never froze! Can't wait to try again

Practice cake. Never done bees and wasnt sure about a color pallet. This is what I came up with Classic Winnie the Pooh design. Strawberry cake, buttercream icing, vanilla custard filling BCT. First attempt on bees. Those little things were fun to do!

This is my first cake for someone other than family. I made a chocolate fudge cake with butter cream icing. The little figurines are not edible but I thought they were easier to use than making fondant ones. It was a big hit and have had several women wanting one for their parties.

This cake was inspired by cakesbyallison. This was a 12" square cake iced in all buttercream. The bow and stripes are MMF. The picture of Pooh is a FBCT. This was a fun cake to do!

Thanks for looking.

I made this for my friend to give to her dad for his birthday (happens to enjoy classic cars). All decorations are done in buttercream. A very challenging, yet fun cake to make!

I made this one and the bottom turned out gorgeous but the top my frosting was too thin and melted off and made the top all bumpy, but most of the ladies said they thought it was supossed to be that way!!

This was my first attempt at decorating for my daughter's first birthday. I used butter cream for the icing. The invitations matched the cake. I was very pleased with the outcome.

I borrowed (with permission) this design from 'laneysmom' for my SIL's baby shower. She loved it! It is a 12" round, white and chocolate with chocolate BC icing. The characters are all gumpaste/fondant.

This is just a close-up of the top of the cake. The characters are gumpaste/fondant. Pooh fell off once, you can still see his 'foot prints' on the carpet. ;) Thanks for looking!

I made this cake for a Baby Shower at work. The Mommy to Be loves classic Pooh!! It is an 12x18 sheet cake and I traced the picture of Pooh. It has been very humid in my area the past few weeks and it have given me some icing issues!!

Done in a classic Pooh theme, parents are expecting a girl. All BC, images are all done freehand. The top layer of this cake gave me such fits! I had a little too much filling and the top layer wanted to slide around. I finally wised up and stuck a dowel through it, but not before proclaiming a few choice words at the cake. LOL

This is diaper bag cake I made for my niece's friend's baby shower. I was a little dissappointed w/ their lack-luster reaction (sorry, it's the whiner in me lol) but I was really happy w/ it before that. It's made w/ a 12x18 dk.choc.fudge cake &choc.Buttercream, covered in Rhonda's MMF and decorated w/ buttercream. What do you think, Honestly please...

I CARVED THIS FROM A TWO LAYERED SHEET CAKE CUT IN HALF. I COVERED IT IN BUTTERCREAM. THEN DID ALL THE HOOD AND TRUNK DETAIL IN MOLDING CHOCOLATE. I THEN COVERED IT IN FONDANT AND DID THE OTHER DETAIL IN FONDANT. I FAINTED IT WITH LUSTER DUST. THE WIND SHIELD ID CUT FROM CARDBOARD AND COVERED IN FONDANT.

This was a grooms cake and the bride gave me pictures of a car to copy. I wish I had made it a bit skinnier, but didn't want to loose too many servings. Chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream. Covered in fondant.
