Made from 4 pound cakes and Buttercream icing. I used Backyardigan bobble head circus toys on each car and caboose and a #2 candle for the smoke stack. Wheels are Oreos and Lifesavers. Windows are Lifesavers as well. This was a fun cake!

So far, I think this was the most fun I have had decorating a cake. The animals and stars are MMF. The cake is covered with MMF and the popcorn boxes is make with rice crispy treats and wrapped with an edible image.

Winnie & his friend piglet at the circus. I must say thank you to kaz79 for this idea. The customer was more than happy with it as it more than she requested. So much so that she has since ordered 4 further orders with me :-)

This was my show entry for the 2007 Oklahoma Sugar Art Show. The top hat gave me lots of problems. I ended up having to redo it in the hotel room until 3 am that Saturday. The top hat and ringmaster ended up being at a different angle by the time I got it set up at the show.

My daughters 2nd birthday was yesterday, we had a bit circus party. I had a lot of fun doing this cake and am very happy with how it turned out. It took a very long time but it was worth it. I will post pics of the other sides (other animals) in my folder.

Thanks to sugar creations for the design idea and to mccorda for instructions on making popcorn.

the customer found a picture of this cake, I think it's from a wilton book. I tried to replicate it but ran out of white frosting so I had to make the bottom border much smaller and nix the top border cause I was too lazy to turn back on the kitchanaid at midnight!
