This was my very first attempt at cake decorating. I used the recipe for the 3D/Wedding cake recipe on this site, and also made MMF from the recipe section as well. The layers are approx. 6", 8", 10". I had fun, but I definitely have a newfound respect for those of you who do this professionally. =) I couldn't have done any of it without all the great info on this site. Thanks cake central!

This was my first attempt at anything so involved. I want to first thank cakeconfections for some inspiration on this one. I wanted to do a JoJo's circus theme for my DD 2nd bday and this is what I came up with. The tent is a wondermold on top of an 8"x4" cake. Cake is marble with BTC icing and fondant stripes. Side cakes are 6" chocolate fudge cakes, BTC icing and fondant shapes. JoJo & Friends were bought as was the number 2 and stars candle.

DD's smash cake for her 2nd birthday. Cake is 5" chocolate fudge with FBCT Jojo....was my first time doing a FBCT that covered the whole top of a cake. Wish the pic turned out better but the flash picked up the wet look on the cake :(

Idea from someone on this site but I'm not sure who--so thanks! Mom wanted the smash cake to look like the large cake and she was putting a candle on the top for the flag. Used the wonder mold atop an 8" round then atop a 10" round. Smash was the mini wonder mold atop a 6" round.

This was a tough order to fill! The mom wanted a train, and planes, and circus animals. It's a 11" and 7", covered in MMF with MMF train, plane, and tree cutouts and figurines on top. The animals in the train are piped buttercream. It's hard to see him, but a happy little monkey is driving the train and waving.

This cake was quite a challenge. I got the idea from a Wilton yearbook. I thought it was so cute, so I tried if for my little girl's 4th birthday. I loved all the color.

These are mini clown cakes made for a little boy's circus theme birthday party. They're jumbo cupcakes turned upside down and decorated, and the hats are sno cone cups.

The couple were circus performers and wanted a tent for their wedding cake! This was so fun to make & a real challenge as everything was edible. Sized 8, 10 & 12 overall height was 14 inches tall. We copied the brides dress design and the wheel is what she did her act with. The sign also had battery operated lights.

The birthday girls love Little People. Mother suggested we just put the toys on the cake so I made it personal by making "Little People" birthday girls to go on their smash cakes (I'll upload that pic next.) This cake is iced in BC. I did it using the upside-down technique. Time consuming...looks pretty good but I think I'll just perfect my technique with hot water. The circus tent is RCT covered wtih fondant.

Each of Jojo's shoes is a small loaf cake, wrapped in fondant, as well as the body, which I carved. The head is cake, on it's own plate, also wrapped in fondant.

I have done this cake before for a little girls first birthday. This time I changed the colours for a little boy first birthday/christening cake. The original design I was inspired by was found on this sight.

Got the colors/theme from Flickr.com after I found these toys at Target. I'll be glad when they have more cake toppers for The Backyardigans!! Cake is yellow cake with Buttercream Dream icing with fondant stripes. I take all critiques!!
