Did this for a Church 92 Anniversary. This is a 16" square cake. Their anniversary was in December so I used the christmas colors to decorate. The numbers are cakes done with the mini number pans.

I made this cake for our ground breaking celebration for our new church. It was yellow poppy seed with a b/c frosting. I used crushed Oreo's and Nilla wafers for the "gravel" and trucks that were from a McDonald's Happy Meal. I made the sign on my computer and laminated it and glued it to two popsickle sticks.

Another view. The first cake was at my house. This one was at the church's lounge. The cake looks plain because they didn't decorate the table.

This was done for a First Communion. The cake design is from a Wilton Yearbook ( can't remember which year ). "stained glass" colors were mixed with piping gel. I know it is "copied" straight out of the Wilton book, but I thought it was a nice cake design for just about any church/ religious event.

This cake was done for a bake-off that my mother-inlaw's church. I was not going to be in town the day of the bake-off so I decided to take a picture of the actual church building and make a cake. I stayed up all night long making the cake. My husband entered it in the bake-off...won 1st place and took the credit for my cake but he did share the prize money with me. So I guess it was worth loosing a little sleep over.

From Wilton's 2004 Yearbook...I did a few things differently but it's pretty much the same cake. This was for my sister-in-law's wedding and a freebie...tonnes of work and one of my first cakes. It stood 3 feet off the cake table...horrible to transport.

This was a Cake I made for my Pastors 55th Birthday. I had wanted to do more with it...and make it look like a bible, but was in a hurry...so it got what it got LOL.
I used my 1/2 sheet cake pan, and baked 2 of them and placed them side by side, then baked a Cake in my Cross pan... and placed on top of the one on the Left.

This was my first attempt at FBCT. I still have alot to learn, but I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I had fun making the little ears of corn, too! Oh, and this is a yellow and chocolate marble cake.

This cake was designed for a man turning 99. He attended the church as a young man and drove a Model T car at the time. The car is made of gumpaste, the trees in the background are made with pastillage and rice paper leaves. He is now 100 and still going strong. Note: As of October 20, 2006, he will be 101.

I was asked by a friend to make a cake based on a photo they took while visiting a ghost town. Strawberry cake with vanilla bc tinted brown. MMF accents and board covering.

The lighting in the room turned the roof rafters blue-ish. Was actually black.

I made this cake for a lady that I work with, it was the Pastor's birthday. It is a sheet cake, covered in buttercream icing. I used blue spray to give it a sky effect and the dove and church are drawn free hand and filled in with a star tip. I got the idea from a wilton book. They loved it!
