My first paid customer. My first FBCT. I piped the suit web outline on top of the FBCT. It is a lot of detail, but I enjoyed making it. I am sure the boy will love it. My dd is invited so I get to see his reaction. The resources on this site helped aid in the completion of this cake. Thanks!!

I made this cake last year for my son's 2nd birthday. His theme was Bob the Builder, and I did it all with BC from the Wilton pan. Nothing real special here, but I wanted to upload it too since I've done so few cakes.

Yet another edible gumpaste figurine cake made for a friend in Dubai.
The kids relly love it, and the edible pearls make this simple blue theme very 'wet'.. simulating bubbles.. The icing is from eggwhite and sugar (boiled Italina meringue style).

I made this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday last week. It took forever to do, but I got a lot of compliments.

For my little girl's 1st birthday back in September. Bottom, top layers & smash cake - Key Lime cake with Cream Cheese-Key Lime buttercream filling...middle layer - French Vanilla cake with Cream Cheese-Strawberry buttercream filling. All are frosted with Cream Cheese Buttercream. The desired effect was that the inside was pink & green just like the outside of the cake. Flowers & initial topper are fondant, grass and stems of flowers are buttercream. The cake matched her dress...this was so much fun!!

I copied this out of a magazine. It is two 9 in. rounds (white cake) with the middle cut out of the top layer. Berry blue jello fills the center. The original used chicklets for the "tile" around the border, but I just couldn't see using it for 2 year olds. I then used buttercream for all frosted parts. The lawn chairs, the towels, and the ball were made from starbursts. The diving board handles are the halves of a gummy life-saver. I was pleased with the results. The jello/cake combo was actually yummy!

This is a cake I made to go along with a baby shower cake. This was for a seven year old boy who was to be a big brother for the first time, so I just made a small 6" cake just for him. It is chocolate with chocolate icing. The letters on the front "JON" are his name, and were made with MMF (my first shot at it!). It was lots of fun, and he LOVED it!

I made this cake as a donation for a group called "Uruguayos Unidos" which means Uruguayans United. There was a function to raise money for children's soup kitchen's and I made this cake for them. Buttercake filled with Dulce De Leche (Caramel) whipped cream and coconut syrup. Gumpaste figures and fondat plaque. The plaque has a flag of Uruguay and it read "Uruguayans, United for our Children". The buttercream sides were really rough, I was in a hurry and spent too much time on the figures ; )

This is the cake I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday. It was the first time I had used fondant and I think it turned out pretty well. The cakes are coated in buttercream and the board is covered in fondant as well. Sorry about the ugly workboard I had to make last minute structural renforcements my tree was a little top heavy.

This cake was for my daughter's bday. Very simple cake, 2 9" rounds stacked. Found a globe for the topper and mini dolls dressed in costumes from around the world. I had fun carring out this theme.

I made this one for my Grandson. They are sitting on hat boxes that I decoupaged in the animal print tissue and sealed them. Each cake has a matching animal. Cigar type cookies were placed on the sides to look like bamboo. These were the easiest and fastest cakes I have made and have had a lasting impression on many people.

I made this for a friend's little boy. It is another example of how I have used hat boxes as cake stands.

This order was for 3 items - a cake with an edible map, a priate ship and favor cookies. I don't know what I would do without my rice paper and edible ink printer.

I used crushed graham crackers instead of nuts for the lane and sides of cake. I used a cupcake at the top of the silo for height instead of piled up icing. Otherwise, I followed most of the instructions on the Wilton website for this cake.

7-year-old's Princess Party. Fondant crown painted with Luster Dust. Each part was made individually then assembled on the cake. The Boa was my favorite part.
