This was the biggest cake I have ever done. It was a 11x15 double layered. The cheerleader was a BCT and everything else was free-handed. On the sides it says 2-4-6-8 It's Kristan's birthday ~Celebrate~

Agh! Playing with MMF again. This time sculpted a caricature of the birthday girl; based on photo grandmother gave me. Had fun but certainly can't make a profit sculpting fondant unless I get faster. LOL Oh's a learning experience!

Here is our churches Upwards Awards Night Cake I did. I tried doing a FBCT, but it stuck to my wax paper and was unusable. I usually have great results with FBCT when I leave in the freezer for 24 hours. This one was only in for 2 hrs because I was running late. I had to free-hand the pictures onto the cake. I tried to transfer the picture by outlining it and laying it on the cake (hoping it would stick). It didn't stick very well. I had very little outline left when I picked up the paper.

I found out last minute that my nephew's girlfriend was going to be part of our birthday celebrations because her birthday was a week before ours, but I had already decided on the Zen Garden so I made her a cheerleading cake with her school colours because, well, she's a cheerleader, lol. The pompoms are mini cupcakes under the icing

Made for a congratulatory gift package shipped to a client's out-of-state niece for making junior cheerleader. I was told the colors were black and gold, the name of the school, and the mascot was a knight. Recipient loved them and shared with fellow cheerleaders!

This was a last minute order for a colleague. Vanilla cakes filled with danish pineapple filling and iced in buttercream. MMF Accents and cheerleader figure. Thanks to the ladies that posted images for a chocolate transfer but I ended up just molding one. I really need to work on molding figures.

This cake is for a "tailgate" themed birthday party today (MSU vs. Purdue).
It is for 2 5 year olds (boy and girl). They wanted to add some cheerleaders to make it a little bit more feminine for the girl. The cheerleaders, team logos and football player are CT's. It was my first time doing a sheetcake and i had some trouble with the square corners. I had to make more cheerleaders this morning to cover up my imperfections by the corners! I need some more practice, but this was a fun cake.

My son's girlfriend wanted a cheerleading cake for her birthday. This along with a pom pom cake was a big hit. She loved the paw print. The school mascot is Redhounds.

This was for a mans birthday ... the theme was football and his wife wanted a sexy cheerleader ... this is what I came up with. I used a half sheet cake for the body and the sports ball pan for the chest. All iced in buttercream and the skirt is fondant.

I am so dissapointed in this cake! It is nothing like how cute I had pictured it in my mind. The icing was too soft, the colors were being weird and I think the black is going to seep into the faces overnight. Grrrr. I mean it is only little girls who aren't really going to care, but when you have a super image in your head and you get this, it is frustrating.

One is a soccer player and the other a cheerleader, but the mom wanted one cake. And one of them doesn't like chocolate. So I made half chocolate, half vanilla with vanilla buttercream. All decorations are edible.

I will never do FBCT again after this cake!! It turned out smudgy and not at all like I expected. I ended up piping over most of it. Oh well!! Live and learn!

This was made for a little girl's cheerleading-themed birthday party. I wasn't crazy about the purple polka-dots, but the mom had promised her she could have candy on her cake, so there you go!

I helped my daughters friend make this for her a cheerleading fundraiser at their school. She did most of the work since she was supposed to do it. I think it turned out really good!

I starred in the dress, shoes on this doll and made to pom-pom's with a grass tip. I used a hexagon shape pan and put pansies on the top corners. To say the least, this little girl fell in love with her birthday cake!
