This is cake #2 of 2 from the Winnie The Pooh #1 birthday. The mother wanted a character cake and a sheet cake for her little girl's party. I did the sheet cake in the colors of Winnie #1 and added party sprinkles in the same colors also.

I spent all day yesterday baking and decorating the two of these! This was my first go at character cakes and I've decided I don't want to do any more! I could have done a lot better on smoothing the white background and Cinderella's hair, but I had been stuck in that chair for over 8 hours and there were five little girls trying to stick their fingers in everything - succeeding most of the time!! These are for my nieces. They loved them, so I guess it was worth the effort.

This was for my son's 5th Birthday. I found a picture in his Thomas the Tank Engine Magazine and drew it free-handed onto the cake and decorated it from there. I was really excited the way it turned out. I am just a beginning cake decorator. Thanks for looking at my picture.

For my daughter's third birthday. She loved Pinochio. I got a picture, taped it on the back of a pan and put a piece of plastic wrap over it. Carefully outlining each of the figures, I filled them in, making sure the entire surface was at least ¼" thick. Put the pan in the freezer until it was hard. Then picked up the plastic wrap and placed it icing side down on the cake, pressed and removed the plastic wrap. A few minor adjustments and it was completed, except for borders and writing. She was thrilled!

This is my first *character* cake - I have a lot of room to grow! lol....

This was for a co-worker's ten year old daughter's birthday. She is in love with Bratz - being a new mom, I hadn't even heard of them. I have a lot of room to grow there too! lol...

The cake is french vanilla iced in cherry buttercream, with fondant stars, character and finishing balls. I used a picture I downloaded from the net for the inspiration for the doll.

Thanks for looking!

10" round cake in buttercream icing. I really like bright colors to stand out. I transfered the emblem and filled it in, smoothed with brush where needed and I used one of my son's toys from McD's lol for the sides I used the star tip for the swags and made a rossette at each hight point.

10" round cake, iced with boiled fluffly white icing on cake then for the red I used cream cheese red icing in a thin consitency and poured on and put the cake directly into the fridge to cool down and harden the red icing runs on the side. Positioned the candle and plastic halloween spiders crawling towards the candle. (The knife got to the cake before the camera did sorry about that jijijiji)

First decorated cake I ever made (using the tips and such. I had done the whole "betty crocker messy cake" thing before). Winnie The Pooh pan for my niece's birthday. Just a plain white cake w/ wilton packaged decorating icing. Man is that stuff stiff! I thought i'd break my wrists by the time I was done!! :)

This one was for my daughter's 1st birthday. Didn't come out exactly like i wanted it to but It was still a hit. I think the decorators are harder on themselves then the people we make them for. HAHAHA

This is my daughters' birthday cake. She really liked Power Puff so I made her a matching birthday cake, cupcakes and photo lollipop cookies with her photo and the power puff girls combined. All power puff figurines are also edible. Those who are interested in detailed edible figures, contact me through email.
