This is one of the very fist few cakes that I've made for other people. This one was for my best friend's daughter's 1st birthday. My friend fell in love with it and so did everyone else at the party! It was a hit and I was VERY happy!!!!

This is my second time making these Bug Cookies and now that I am better with the royal icing I really like how they look! They are "No Fail Sugar Cookie" with Antonia74's royal icing.

This is the first caterpillar cake I made with 6 humps and a cookie name. The picture isn't so great because I scanned it in but you can see how cute this cake comes out for a little girl's birthday. It's all buttercream with various candy decorations. Cookies are decorated with royal I think

Just playing around. I've wanted to try some of the chocolate decorations from The Whimsical Bake House book ever since I got it. It was a lot of fun and I learned some things for next time too! Caramel vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing

Covered in BC, all cake (strawberry and chocolate)!! So proud that I actually got the head of the caterpillar to stay. Stacked with lollipop sticks and put a plastic dowel down the middle to make sure the head stayed secure!! Icing this thing wasn't too much fun, but next time I'll know how to do it better; ICE IT FIRST, THEN PUT EACH PIECE TOGETHER!! The grass is a coverup for places I couldn't reach!! LOL!! Would love all your critiques!!

My first BC transfer. This was for Ayarnd's 4th B-day. It had 14 little spiders and 6 little caterpillars made from BC on the cake. I also decorated the cake board with spiders and caterpillars. And piped leaves for the borders.

This is my latest, 6inch chocolate fruitcake covered in Fondx, details are modelling paste. I borrowed ideas from franjmc, louise and ximenilla.....thanks ladies!
Wings & caterpillar antennae are piped with unbreakable gel. Her wand is made from spaghetti and its star is painted with edible glitter. The fairy dust container was filled with magic sparkles but when I went outside to take the photo, the wind blew it away!
All suggestions and feedback welcome, thanks for looking.

This was made for little boys' first birthday. I got the idea from another picture on this site, I believe. I don't remember the name of who created it. I'm sorry I don't know who to give credit to. I loved the idea though. Thank you! The textures on some of the sections are a little different because some are whipped frosting and some are buttercream.

Done for my two sets of twins. One set turning "1", the other set turning "3". The smash cakes are 6in. rounds (yellow w/buttercream). The caterpillar is 5 soccer ball pan cakes with tip #18 stars and border. Cupcakes for the feet and tail. The cakes are chocolate, chocolate w/kahlua, lemon, strawberry, and red velvet.

Buttercream with fondant accents 10" & 6" cakes. Mother having a boy and shower was monkey themed. Made the safety pins to match the invitation. They saw my other monkey shower cake so they wanted a similar monkey.

I got this idea from others like it here on CC! I used oven safe glass bowls to bake 6 small chocolate cakes. I used a large cake board to lay out the cakes and used Dum-Dum suckers for the legs, antenae, and tail....which the bday boy loved!!

I made this for my daughter's birthday. I used 2 chocolate bundt cakes to create the body. The head was made out of a cake baked in an oven-proof bowl. I used small slivers of the bundt to create the antennae.
