I had so much fun making these cookies. They are for a "candyland" themed school dance tonight. They are NFSC with royal icing. I will post more.

Thanks to ellepal for the inspiration. AND, this was 9x13. I would suggest a larger cake to allow more space for the decorations.

This cake was a fun one to do!! My niece saw it in the Wilton Yearbook & asked me if that could be her next birthday cake. How could I say no to my beautiful niece?!! :-) Only thing.. I have got to stop making such huge cakes, I've got to down size!! There were only 14 people at the party! My sister & her family will be eating cake all week ha, ha, ha!!

I did Monoply so I had to try my hand at Candyland. I did this for a good friend's birthday. Actually it was for her and her daughter and she wanted the cake to be more for her daughter. So I thought everyone loves Candyland. So here it is. Hope you like it.

I decorated this cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The cake is a half sheet from Costco (I didn't have time to bake) and I just added all the other decor. The castle is made out of stacked mini ice-cream cones and MMF. Grandma Nutt's house is Circus Peanuts on top of a house-shaped marshmallow treat. Everything else is candy!

I really wanted to make a gingerbread house cuz I never have before. I could only use the materials that I already had, which was fondant. Shaping a lot of the peices by hand was a pain. But it was fun and I think it turned out well. it was inspired by a felt Twinkle gingerbread house I saw online. (Also see front detail)

this was supposed to be more Candyland the land, than Candyland the game. I really tried to make it look clean, and not so "slapped a ton of candy on a cake". I think it turned out sweet, excuse the pun. :-D

This is my version of the candyland cake from Taste of Home magazine. The road is made out of starbursts, the chocolate is reeses cups, and the ice cream cones are cone cupcakes.

and girl/boy plaques are fondant cutouts. The lollipops are fondant
too. Used some store bought candies. Used some cupcake cones.
Fun cake to do..........busy...but that's how they wanted candyland to look!!

I made this for my grandbaby turning 2. I got this cute idea from Adven68 and I've had this cake in mind since she turned 1 last year. SO the theme of the party was built around her cake. This cake is not as cute as Adven68 but my grandbaby loved it.

For my daughter's 24th birthday. She loved the game when she was little and wanted a cake with this theme. I know this cake has been done a hundred times, but thanks to all before me for the inspiration for it.

Lollipop Garden for a baby shower. The theme of the party was
old fashioned candy. Since this was a baby boy, I wanted to make sure
it was boyish. The lollipops are fondant

This cake was made for a woman's 40th birthday party that had a games theme. It was my first topsy-turvy cake - very exciting - and I created a giant game board in the style of Candyland that traveled up and around the cake. In true Candyland fashion, there were little areas around the gameboard: UNO Forest, Twister Wood, Chutes and Ladders Lane, Dice Tree, Domino Mountain, and Go Fish Swamp. She didn't want it covered in fondant so there's a BC base with fondant and gum paste decorations. Pic 1 of 2.

What a FUN cake!! This cake has so many elements - here are the
basics: 10" white, 8" chocolate, 6" strawberry all filled with b/c, covered
with Fondx (and accents). 6" square castle carved, white cake. The only
"store" bought candy are the sugar trees by the castle, the dot trail and the gumball for the gumball machine. Also, a kitchen cake chocolate and white
this served everyone.
