Another view. The first cake was at my house. This one was at the church's lounge. The cake looks plain because they didn't decorate the table.

I made this cake for my husband's birthday. I took the Wilton I course last month and decided to practice what I learned. It turned out ok. Of course, I need a bit more practice on the roses (there's one that has 6 petals instead of 5, shhhh.... :o) ). The cake was pretty tasty. I made a white cake with strawberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting.

I know it's not the best but I am teaching myself everything-thanks to all the help here on CC. This is a yellow DH cake (by the way very moist and fluffy), with buttercream frosting and leftover royal frosting roses-I wanted to use them up-LOL. It was YUMMY! I was in heaven! LOL.

Just a simple white sheetcake with gumpaste daisies to dress it up. Pink buttercream with some white piping too. Sugar crystals sprinkled to add a litttle sparkle. Quick and fun!

I was inspired by a fellow user on CC by the name of "fytar". I saw her cake when I looked up golf cakes for ideas. This cake was made for my husband's coworker who is retiring from work. Chocolate cake and chocolate icing. Golf ball is pound cake. Thanks SO much for your wonderful idea! Everyone LOVED this cake!

This cake was requested after seeing one like it at a baby shower. Not too fond of all the icing but it turned out alright. Need to practice on turned text and boxes though. This wasn't a favorite.

This monster served 240 guests and the MOB told me only 5 pieces remained. Each layer was a different flavor....bottom white with banana creme, middle white with chocolate mousse, and the top pineapple italian cream cake......all iced in buttercream.

First try at decorated cupcakes. Wow, much easier than decorating a cake! 100% butter BC icing, gumpaste and royal flowers and leaves. I cooked the cupcakes a little too long. Cake plate is a gift from a close friend. Thank you for looking!

First time making a stump cake and what fun! It is BC and modeled squirrel, toadstools and acorns are fondant.
I put the squirrel on top of the stump eating a daisy as a joke because one plagued his garden all summer! I hope he loves it.

I made this cake for a friend having a birthday this week. We didn't have a big party for her, so I made her her very own 6" cake. It's a yellow hazelnut cake with raspberry filling. BC frosting and roses. Thanks for looking and any advice/criticism welcomed as I'm new to decorating without any classes yet.

This cross is done with 24 cupcakes. This is one of my favorite Cupcake Cakes I have done. I did this about 3-4 years ago and just found the picture recently and it is still one of my favorite. Buttercream icing on cupcakes and Buttercream roses cascading over the cross.
